Does this post make sense to anyone? Cause it doesn't to me. I cannot fathom how a silly, fun holiday post can make someone decide to give up the game.
Although, upon rereading, the poster says that he wasn't actually playing currently anyway, so it only confuses me even more as to why he felt the need to post this.

so at first i read the negative comments and got really ticked off because that dude sounded like a four year old stomping his feet, but then read the rest and realized that there are actually some sane people out there who enjoy the game and wizkids as much as me :-) Merry Christmas everyone!

I don't get it either. So WizKids lost a customer it didn't have over a silly little promotion that included 'for fun' holiday items. Right. Sure.

Played in a HC game Christmas Eve, and sure, we didn't have the WizKids provided items, but we did have gifts (mystery objects) which contained such fantastic items as...

Fake Mustache (gives Shape Change)
Globe of a Little Ultimate Knowlege (50% chance of Outwit)
and Roller Skates (+2 to grounded movement)

It's a good thing that there were 8 pair of roller skates in the box since horde of 8 Orcs picked them up. Later, when the Orcs had dropped them, Imperiex strapped 8 skates to each foot and began skating around the board.

BTW, love the snowmen.

Way to show them! Bet they will be so upset that you feel this way and will just stop making their ver popular product. Because if you aren't playing, then I bet no one else is....

I find it funny that he joined two years ago and just now decided to post here and whine. Wonder if the wait was really worth it to him. Cause it just kind of comes off as lame to me.

I love the holiday themed objects. It would have been nice if they had included last year's Fruitcake special object for the sake of completeness, but these all look like a lot of fun. Free scenarios! Whoo!

And until we get a Calendar Man figure I think the Holiday Killer should get some sort of bonus when using these objects.

Was a little disappointed that the last day was a "joke" with the print and play seasonals, but thankful for the previews on the other 11 days. I may reconsider Quarriors now because of these 12 days.

Really fun, adorable socks with snowmen on them that chicks will dig, maybe. And considering the clix equivalent of a new car would be a factory set of Mighty Avengers and wasn't about to happen, methinks you should get into the spirit of the season and thank Grandma for the lovely footwear, you miserable ingrates!!! :cross-eye

The only thing about the finale to the 12 Days of Clixmas I didn't like was that it was not available for my last, pre-Christmas game. You can bet that my last pre-Christmas game of 2012 will be centered around using these objects. I love all this holiday nonsense.
