His attack is always 10. Always. That's something I can honestly say I have never seen -- it never dips, never raises... wow. That's both really cool and ridiculously unimaginative.
I have to say, I'm not entirely sure what 'imaginative stats' would look like. Is a 10-9-9-8 more imaginative than a 9-9-9-8?
Pretty standard beatstick. Not that exciting to me although updating the sculpt on the GoG team will be better than actually using Wonder Man. I've seen better, I've seen worse. I'll take him.
I sometimes find those reduced to one powers funny. So I hit you with my wimpiest attacker 1st, okay not a problem. Hey, I almost always play high point battles so it's my mindset when I see it. I had a Sentinel playing double targeting with Blob. He'd send one damage Blob's way & the rest to someone else. People with Multi-targeting basically have license to laught at those powers.

Reason: typo
Unless he's Psy Blasted, Exploited, Pulse Waved, or the power is outwitted
The power states it can't be countered. Also EW and PB won't do any good because this power doesn't reduce damage, it ignores all but one (there is a difference) However, PW will work.
IMO He will be a really fun support piece in > 300 games. Not the piece people will want to go right after in those games which will keep him on his first click longer. But he will be good against tentpoles on his first click. And if people want to send their low pointers at him to get him to click two then he'll be impervious. Nine clix deep is also nice, should make him last a little longer so he can be really annoying.
Should add to the fun of the sealed events as well
Ionic Energy beings don't really get tired. Fleshy ones sometimes do!
More specifically, Simon's powers and abilities don't tank when his confidence is shaken. Gladiator does. That's why Indomitable or Willpower really isn't accurate on the latter.
What this version is missing though is some form of Regen. Come on, how many times has Simon "died" and returned good as new or better than before??
