Im guess Iron Man will what the Big Three power as well but it confuses me that none of the are Avengers. But I do like the Wayward Son power. I actually thought this set would be crap but I'm impressed so far.

Figure looks good. Very playable with that sort of PC built in, and the chance to make some free attacks. Equipped with the protected feat, he'll be a great figure to stick down the enemy's throat. The feat will protect him from a counter-attack, Fortitude will protect him from push damage, and he STILL gets to attack an opposing character for free on the next turn and still clear his dial. Very nice!

So you give the "Big Three" power to a figure that's not even aware that they're one of the "Big Three". C'mon.
He shouldn't have that power, or he should have the Avengers keyword.
When comic fans hear reference to the "Big Three," the most common association is to Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman - the mainstays of the Justice League. On the Marvel side of things, the "Big Three" would refer to the three mainstays of the Avengers - Cap, Thor, Iron Man. These characters don't refer to themselves as the big three, it more of a fan reference.
All that to say, I'm fine with that reference on the card.

We've even gotten a Thor WITHIN THE PAST YEAR that has Impervious. (Within the past MONTH if you count Thorr.)

I'm also one of the few who likes the Fast Forces Thor. I prefer Thor as an "in-your-face" attacker. Couple that with his significantly lower cost and I tend towards the Fast Forces one more than the HoT common.
This one blows that one away for only ten more points though. (Seriously, how does that even compute?)
I'm also not bugged by the keyword thing, I try to not let myself feel restricted by those.

Heck this guy reminds me a lot of Fast Forces Thor who also has an 18 def. with Impervious; hence, not very exciting in my book.
Yeah, but this one gets to make free attacks and has Indomitable. That makes a HUGE difference. (It also MORE than makes up for starting with a ten attack instead of eleven.)
An amazing dial thanks in no small part to good starting stats and the amazing Big Three SP. That Rage SP could very well get him killed though being at the end of his dial where his numbers are their lowest (park a Mystic beside him and watch your opponent skwirm). Still, despite being unable to crack Imperv at that point a free attack is a free attack.
Not sure I really agree with your opinion of the Big Three power. Perhaps if it were located on a different part of the dial, you may get some use out of it, but since it is on his last click (and the one he shares with regen) is Thor really going to attack, or is he going to regen? I would have rather seen these two clicks where his Pulsewave clixs are and then put his pulsewave clicks on the last to clicks of the dial. (of course, then you are paying for Pulsewave you may not use, but at least Thor has a way of dealing with Damage Reducers for his last two clicks if it is needed).
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

Good points but not a clix I will need for my home battles. Doesn't help me points fit better than the FF one & I usually use the HOT one if I'm not looking for a cheap option.
I'd be happy to get him but if I can skip this whole set because there are no new characters in it (???), I gladly will as a character completionist who's already running into cramped displays.
