ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Fair Game will be running monthly Heroclix Saturday events with the first just 10 days from now on February 25th at 1pm. This is going to become a monthly event that we will be running most likely on the last weekend of each month. We want these events to be bigger and bolder than just a regular night of Heroclix. Here's what you need to know:

Where: Fair Game Store in Downers Grove, IL

When: 1pm. Dice will be hitting the tables by 1:30 at the latest

What: Our first Saturday event will be a 600 point Modern Age game. For this first Saturday tournament, there will be a $5 entry fee, but this fee will be going towards purchasing the prizes. For this first Saturday event we will be playing for sealed Incredible Hulk packs. The more people that show up, the more prizes there will be. BRING A FRIEND! (There will be a prize for everybody that shows up, though. Just like our Wednesday tournaments! )

Who: Well, you and everybody that you invite, of course. The more the merrier. I will be your JUDGE, as usual!

Why: For Miniature Super-Heroic fun in Real Life! Plus, $5 for a chance to win a bunch of Incredible Hulk Heroclix!

Can't promise anything but really want to show for your venue this coming Wednesday. So 600 points with 50% being from Hulk or Superman, modern too, correct?

This coming Wednesday (Feb 22nd) we are having our month 2 Inifinity Gauntlet event. It's the standard 600 points with at least 300 points coming from either/both the Hulk or Superman sets. I consider Fast Forces to be part of the set, so those are acceptable as well.

Try to be there as close to 6:30 as possible. Will try to have everybody paired up and playing by 6:45. Dice will be hitting the tables by no later than 6:50.

Please register on the Wizkids event system to ensure that you get your soul gem participation prize. In case we go over 18 players, I can only guarantee you one if you register.

I'm going to be able to make it. I'm looking to trade for a Red She-Hulk to complete my Hulk Family. I'm bringing everything I have so I'm sure I could come to a good compromise with anybody who wants to trade. I'm also looking for Hulkbuster Squad Leaders, Hulkbuster Wranglers, and Black Bolt perhaps. I'll be there early. Hope to have some fun

Great! Are you registered on the Wizkids event system? If so, make sure to sign up for it (This is only to ensure that you get a Sould Gem. We may have more players than we do gems, so I've recommended it as a guaranteed way to get one) Otherwise it will be first come, first serve.


I don't have a red she-hulk to trade, but I'll bring my duplicates with me since I do have a black bolt. There isn't much I need myself, but I do look to rotate my inventory now and again.

Last time I tried signing up on Wizkids from my phone it wouldn't work. Its the only web I have. But I'll try to sign up. If I can't I already have a soul gem..and there's always the chance of winning the prize. Lol. Do you guys run 1st,2nd, and Fellowship or something else? And while I'm here I should ask if LOTR Epic Actions are allowed. I never clarified with anyone if those are only allowed in LOTR Campaigns or not

In the Infinity Gauntlet month two event they will not be allowed because it is a modern age game and LOTR isn't modern age. Yes, we do things by the book for the IG tournaments, so there is a prize for 1st, 2nd, and fellowship (Which we vote on)

As far as any other Wednesday night, if we are playing at least a 400 point game (As long as it's not specifically modern) epic actions are allowed. Any chance you will be able to make our saturday game as well?

Yea the event system tells me "restricted names are not allowed" for my username. Its the same name I have here. Lol. So idk it'd be nice to have a 2nd gem I suppose but if not its ok. I just like to play

Oh so its Modern Age? I didn't know if all venues did their game the same. I know Naperville was modern. Its no big deal. It just means no feats or special objects correct?

Modern age is only character from Secret Invasion, Batman Alpha, Arkham Asylum, and Anything from the NECA age of Heroclix which started with Hammer of Thor. This does not include LOTR, Star Trek, Halo, or Gears of War.

Not every venue is doing it the same, but most are.

Ok. I just remember it meaning no feats...which makes my building easier. Lol. I shall see you tomorrow. And yes it'd be great to bring any modern Marvel or LOTR duplicates (or anything up for trade) with you. Cya man and thanx for the info

Cool beans. Just in case there was any confusion, Modern also means no feats, bystanders, or BFCs besides only being able to build from those sets. ATA's are still good, though.

Also, don't forget the 300 points that has to come from Hulk and/or Superman sets.

Yep got it. Got a little somethin brewed up. And as far as this Saturday I don't believe I can make it but the following Saturday might work. And for future ref wat does a Pool game entail? I'll be gone at work by the time that comes but I'm still curious. Lol
