on ths subject..does pulse wave ignore gauntlet effects..such as the plus 1 or plus 2 to stats?
From what I have read, yes. Since the IG provides game effects/powers and PW ignores all game effects/powers within its range then the bonuses granted would be ignored. Even a full 40 pt IG would be ignored.
Gotta love PW.
Things that should be clixed:
1) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2) He-Man 3) Thundercats 4) Gundam
Basically the 80's needs clixing.
BEYOND MORTAL LIMITS: At the beginning of your turn, choose an attached gem that you did not choose during your last turn. Character can use the effects of that gem as long as this power is showing.
It doesn't say that previously chosen gems are no longer useable. So say when it first appears the next round you choose soul gem, the round after that you pick power gem, would you still be able to use the soul gem as long as power "1" is showing?

The Clarifications - Resources section of the PG states:
The last sentence of Beyond Mortal Limits reads: “Character can use the effects of that gem until the beginning of your next turn as long as this power is showing.”
Don't know why it is not changed in the Current Wording - Resources section of the document.

Looks like an oversight. I'll note that for correction in the next PG.

OK so I have a scenario that I would like a bit of clarification on,
So I have a question, I was thinking about this, when you get to godhood, you get +2 to all your stats right? What happens IF you picked up Mjolnir in the a game where I am fielding a character with the Gauntlet?
Lets say I have Icons vet Superman, he has the Gauntlet attached to him, and my opponent fields Mjolnir, BUT before Superman gets to godhood, he rolls the 6 to pick up Mjolnir, is my damage value a 9 and my attack a 16 when I reach godhood? I understand the rule of three, BUT this almost came up the other day when I was playing a friendly 3 way game. The other thing to add to this is, the third player fielded a generator, IF Superman picks this up, what happens?

There is absolutely no reason modifiers can't stack. Neither the IG nor Mjolnir state that the character's combat values can't be otherwise modified.
Not sure where you are going with the generator, though... are you asking if Superman could still pick up and use objects?

Normal it appears to me as if he is asking if he can break the rule of three. He wants to gain a total of +4 to Attack and Damage. The answer to that, if that is indeed the question, is a resonding no. You cannot break the rule of three simply b/c you picked up a special object while having the gauntlet.
As for picking up the generator I'm assuming your asking if your allowed to pick up a special object while weilding the gauntlet. The answer to that is yes you can. You cannot have special objects as part of your force but if your opponent places special objects you can still interact with them normally.

He said he already understands the Rule of Three... so I was assuming he was asking for some other reason.
He said that he understood it, but he demonstrated that he didn't by asking:
"...is my damage value a 9 and my attack a 16 when I reach godhood?"
This, in reference to a character who has a base 12 Attack, and a base 5 Damage.
Those statements are correct, though. With all the modifiers floating around, the damage IS modified up to 9 and the attack IS modified up to 16. Which could be very important if someone comes along and tries to modify those values down.
And only then, after all modifiers (positive and negative) are taken into account, does the Rule of Three kick in.
All this speculation those doesn't really get us anywhere, though... which is why I asked what he meant by having the generator.
The reason I asked, is that while we were playing, I picked up Mjolnir, and then I attained godhood. I had already been running around with the generator, and it came up and we were wondering how all three of the objects worked together. Since they are different effects, did they affect my damage and attack differently, OR did the rule of three trump all the crap I had been lugging around with Superman.
