Batman is okay, but by the time I get thru the Guantlet event, I doubt I'll want to play in another one.
These sort of events, along with Supremacy League that "require" one to play heroclix, aren't my bag.
.
I don't enjoy "having" to play clix, it quits being a hobby and becomes job-esque.
My biggest problem is every event is sealed. 3 events of Superman thus far.
Have to wait another month for GG.
It's not the belt that concerns me. There's something like Thanos looming off in the distance, and despite the fact that I might actually have a shot at getting Thanos; I could not care less about winning him.
I doubt that will be that case with whatever is sitting at the top of those stairs in Gotham.
If it's a mirror of the gems it would have to be the Gotham Knights as prizes to go with the belt components right? Batman with the belt, Robin w a Batarang, Nightwing w nightvision goggles, etc. But that picture of Harley and Mr J has me thinking it won't be so black and white.
Unlike the power gems and the Elders I'm guessing any prize LEs charcters will be also represented in one of the many Bat sets due to come out. Just a guess though.
Yeah, it may not be on par with the Infinity Gauntlet events in the sense that it doesn't include any great power. But it is an infinitely (see what I did there) better idea for a 6-month event imo. Just think of all the possibilities. Maybe every player is a gang in Gotham and you have to take over as much of the city as possible from other players in order to win the big prize (i.e. the Batmobile). Maybe every month is an event corresponding to a gang, and the winner's prize is the leader of that gang, the second/fellowship prize is someone else from the gang, and the participation prize is a piece of the Utility Belt.
I just love the idea and can't wait to see what they do with it. Joker + Harley Quinn = pure win.
That's Absorbing Man, btw. But I do love my abs, too.
That Utility Belt had better darn well have Shark Repellent.
This character has +2 attack and +1 damage against all characters with the or symbols.
Oh, I guess I was supposed to give a suggestion besides No Man's Land. Well, I would have been okay with Blackest Night or Crisis being a 6-month event, but they kinda missed those opportunities. I honestly can't think of anything better.

I like the 'War of the Green Lanterns' idea but what would you have as the participation prize + add-ons (ie. The Gauntlet + Infinity Gems) to keep the players coming back? The entities are a cool idea separately but they never really worked together. For this purpose Batman's utility belt makes a lot more sense.
Here's how I would run a War of Light:
Month 1- Book of the Black participation prize, Indigo Lantern Black Hand prize
Month 2- Parallax participation prize, Yellow Lantern Hal Jordan prize
Month 3- Ion participation prize, Green Lantern Sodam Yat prize
Month 4- Adara participation prize, Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner prize
Month 5- Proselyte participation prize, Indigo Lantern John Stewart prize
All of the entities attach to the Book of the Black, as used by Krona (a parallel to the Infinity Gauntlet, as used by Thanos). I've picked the prizes as characters that I think people will want, but that hopefully wouldn't cause too many riots (Glomulus might).
While doing this, release a set where we get a smattering of Rainbow Lanterns to help increase excitement, including:
That would give us all of the important Lanterns from the Red, Orange, Blue, Indigo, and Violet factions. Obviously the set would have Green Lanterns too, which would be good for GL fans.
That leaves us with some unmade Sinestro Corps members we can get spread out 1 or 2 per set in the coming years, and plenty of unmade Black Lanterns. The whole layout isn't perfect, but I think it's a workable concept.
I borrowed the Arkham game from a friend and I simply detest the "new" Azzy from that.
Also, I don't want the GambitAzzy from the end of his run.
The first 30 or so issues of Azrael are Gospel (no pun intended) as far as I'm concerned.
Nope, only the one NML, so it would have to be Jean Paul and not Michael Lane. I don't want the Gambit-Az either. He did have the awesome Quesada costume in the beginning of NML, so there is still a chance. I agree with you on the first 30 issues too.

Very nicely laid out. That's something I could get behind.
Dude, he barely does anything. There's hardly anything there to detest!
Seriously. I thought he was the original Azrael, because outside of his bio there's no notable difference. The costume's differences I just chalked up to game redesigns.

Yeah, like...oh, wait:
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
he mutters some cryptic crap about a higher purpose or somesuch and then just...goes away.
