Good DC character dials revealed -> "Wizkids is full of DC fanboys."
Good Marvel character dials revealed -> "This character should have had that, not this one!"

3 consecutive Marvel sets -> HULK SUCKS! :X GLADIATOR NO INDOM!
I get the feeling these characters are being designed to work as a set and be played against other Dark Knight figures. The designers put the Batmans at such a high point value becuase he's the hero of that series, and I feel like his combat values and powers are being judged against the rest of the characters in the movies, not against the rest of the characters in Heroclix.
This allows greater variation in the point cost and abilities of the rest of the figures in the set as compare to him, rather than making them all 20-60ish point figures with relatively similar values.
Thugs in this set (if we get any) will have guns that deal 2 damage. Movie Batman can shrug off a shot from an ordinary gun with his armor. Hence invulnerability. I imagine the Bane, Joker, Two-Face, Ra's, and any other significant villains will be point-costed to compete with these Batmen, even if they don't equal them.

3 great Batman figures -> OMG WIZKIDZ DC BIAS!
So we should get crap Batman figures because we got crap Hulk figures?
These Batman figures are great, he has utility which Batman does. Both figures are indomitable which drives up the cost but there is nothing better than having indomitable on a figure.
Why are we getting this preview when we haven't even had a preview of chaos wars yet......this set is months away
Um... they're both releasing in June.
Just as NECA is releasing both GG and the Avengers Movie CTD set in April, they are releasing both CW and the Batman Movie CTD in June.
Luckily for anyone who likes to spread out their HC purchases, there's nothing coming out in May except for the GG CTD and the X-Men fast forces pack and the Green Lantern War of the Light fast forces pack and the... yeesh.
Bruce Wayne is pretty good especially if you can manage the AE transformation after he's been pegged. Both Batmen are OK too albeit a tad expensive for the damage output. I am, however, already getting tired of seeing a never ending parade of Bat related stuff though and its only just begun.
Why did they even bother to create a new symbol for the Batman Ally TA? It's just a waste, imo, and simply adds confusion.
That bein said, love Bruce and the Dark Knight, especially since they're commons. Is this set gonna be a big set or a little set like the Avengers movie?
Just Wow!! Love the sculpts, and the dials are crazy good too. I agree that Batman should be a secondary attacker/utility piect not a front liner so these are a bit high priced but they are good value for the price.
Wow. Bruce Wayne is actually playable. Most AE's don't do enough on their own to justify their points on the board. I would gladly play Wayne for his points. 18 Defend + outwit + stealth + some protection against outwit for friendly adjacent characters? This is a game-changing mechanic. I love it.
There is not real protection on the Outwit special ability but it may be a deterrence. Once an opponent uses outwit, it does not prevent the ability to be countered, just a reaction to the outwit with an instant token, 1 penetrating damage, or nothing at all. If it still goes through with a good roll (token or damage), you still possibly got an opponent's figure ready to bust through without worrying about the outwitted ability.
... wow, today is my Birthday and what a great ####ing gift for it!
Why exactly is The Dark Knight more costly in points than The Batman exactly? I prefer The Dark Knight hands down but as someone who dabbles in the Custom Dials I suppose this only reinforces the point cost value associated with Outwit vs. Perplex?
