So I'm getting the feeling the characters in this set are going to be way overpowered. Just as long as it holds true for the villains I can live with it. If we get an 80 point Joker though, I'm gonna be pissed.

You are right, Joker should top out at 65, maybe 75 points.
Although I join you in annoyance at how excessive these clix are for the characters they supposedly represent, is that, spesifically, a bad thing? New blood is good.
I was going to say that both were too expensive, but upon further consideration, Alfred's perplex, support, and defend is going to make him fairly valuable.
Though Lucius's scientist keyword is gonna make for some dumb interactions for scientist teams!

Not a bad thing at all. Some judges may have to manage it a bit, though.
I was looking forward to Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine clix, but with the expectation that they would actually *look* like them. These...not really, unless you consider "generic gray haired black man" to be interchangeable with Morgan Freeman. Alfred looks closer to John McCain than Michael Caine (good God, does that mean Catwoman will look like Sarah Palin?).
