To point out (though i didn't descriminate on my 1st post), if someone were to abuse someone purely due to where they are from, that is considered racist. It doesn't just need to be the colour of their skin.
Actually, I don't think it would be. I think it would be nationalist. Or perhaps xenophobic would be the appropriate word.

i disagree, racism doesnt just take into account physical attributes of a person/race. It also targets a persons/race background, culture and ethnicity, ie where they are from.
I do however understand why you'd use the other words stated above.

While an individual's actions in such a case could be racist, it is not necessarily so. I'm white. If I abuse a white person from Ireland based on his nationality, odds are that there's no racism involved. It all depends on the motivating factor behind my intolerance.
Of course, I'm too smart to try and pick a fight with an Irishman. I hate getting beat up.
I was under the impression these things (or at least the dials) were machine assembled, then hand painted...
Also, this thread has made me re-think my personal definition of racism. Thanks guys, I love being confused, so long as it leads to personal growth.
Wait, so you thought the dials were hand painted? Seriously?
Umm... that can't be what you mean, I must be misunderstanding you. The dials are clearly printed. They are stickers, so I'm pretty sure after the printing, they are hand placed. Which is where the problem happens.
@foomonkey... Maybe I was splitting hairs. Stop quibbling, I'm on your side!
lol

I'm actually at a loss. lmao.
for clarification; I was under the impression that the dials were printed and then machine assembled, and that the sculpts were hand assembled/painted.

Ahh, I see now.
Well, proof is in the pudding. If dials were machine placed, there wouldn't be so much inconsitency. They're clearly hand placed.
