Thank you for approaching this logically and putting out a well thought out statement. Yes, you absolutely could start a thread stating that about me. However, my nine years on this website and my thousands of posts and my many contributions to Heroclix over the years would speak for themselves. I personally don't know why some people are up in arms about the fact that I'm calling people out on their BS. The only thing I can think of is that they've done this before and don't want to be on the list. What if we came to a happy medium and I put "The List" in a blog and re-started a thread that was the "Awesome players" thread, but I put a link in their linking to my blog? I do think the list needs to exist. This kind of behavior shouldn't be allowed to run wild. SOMEBODY has to try to do something.
Well stated. This is exactly what I thought. We, the new members, need the opinion of veteran players to know who to play and who not to waist our time with. I can't speak for everyone but my time is valuable and I would prefer it not waisted on people who aren't willing to see the game through.
I also agree on the fact that the only ones who would "flame" the thread are the ones who have also done this in the past.
i began my game with curbstomper by typing in chat before i picked a team and asked what kind of game he would like, because i didn't want to bring out hulk, QS, and rookie BP if someone was rocking a HYDRA team. he said he wanted a fun game so i brought out the Hellions.
when i got in the game he was rocking WOS deadpool and cable. i was like whatever and started to play. i crit missed with empath on MC so i PCed it with roulette into another crit miss.........i was like whatever and i pushed White Queen to team prob it. and still missed. whatever i kept playing. then i hit his cable a couple of times and he was on his 2nd to last click. so he ran, but left the both of them in LoF to empath. so i double incapacitated both of them. and as soon as it hit he quit game without saying a word. this is why we need a quitters list.
i would like to add Curbstomper to the list.
I also played Curbstomper in a casual game recently, also with him playing cable/deadpool. At the beginning of the match, he was willing to chat... not so much later. It was a close fight, but I soon found an opening and took out Cable.
After that, he just ran away for a few turns, then eventually just stopped doing anything until his timer ran out, and he lost by forfeit - along with not responding in chat. Perhaps he lost connection legitimately, but it seemed fishy.
I do believe that might be the same player that lost to me once and told me that I sucked so bad that I could never accomplish the same thing twice. I will be adding him to my list.

I have had more than 1 or 2 or 3 games with him like this, don't think he has ever finished a game.
So now when he joins I just don't select a team so it starts or I just leave game queue and re create game.
People quit, its just one of the things you have to accept when playing games online.
What has to be realized when playing games online (including HCO) in that there are many legitimate reasons for having to quit a game other than the "insert reason here" that has been indicated in this thread. While I agree that someone quitting HCO mid-game is frustrating at times, I don't have any idea what is going on that caused the other player to quit therefore it's not my place to say that they are quitting because of a reason that I think is unreasonable.
I will also say that if I play with someone who quits games the first 2-3 times I play with them then I tend to shy away from their games when looking in the game lobby. There are plenty of other people to play HCO with, no need to point out who we may think the "bad apples" are.
Proverbs 3:5,6 Arkham Knight Clix - Oh Yeah, there coming!!
had a game with shanehuber today and after he missed his first attack and i positioned where he couldn't attack the next round without pushing, he quit without saying one word. just another name for you guys to look out for.

Thank you for that, but I only added curbstomper after several people confirmed him (And as I said I think I played him too and he did the same to me)
If other people know for sure that shanehuber quit on them and can corraborate your story, I would add him.

yeah that's why i said another name to look out for. for all i know his house was on fire but i doubt it. but now hopefully people will remember his name and we can see if this is a habit.

HCO has to do something about this. as soon as my game with the one quitter was over i started another and after i decked his Guardian of the Universe and his superman missed. he just alt F4ed out of the game. and i have to wait 4 minutes in between turns or i get the quit in my stats. its rediculous. His name was Jon Goodwin i beleive.
HCO needs to do like Bungie and have a rating system and if you quit in a match you lose rating or if enough people rate you as bad then you go down. i dont know how to fix it but i have played 5 games today and i have only finsihed one because of the quitting....
I am guilty of quitting a game before it has started if my opponent fields a broken 'must win' team but i dont quit while the game is in progress even when the dice roller has given me the black spot from the first roll.
Does this make me a rage quitter?
If i were to start a game with you and you fielded an unskilled team such as HOT Ultron, HOT Cp america, and Black Panther/Scarlet Witch and i were to quit before the game had started, would i be added to your little list?.
This is so me.
I don't feel so bad about quitting a game before it starts because then I don't see it as wasting someone's time.
Of course sometimes the UFO's fly to low and I lose my connection. I wish the government would do something about that.
