Maybe Marvel had something to do with it?

I really thought this set was going to be weak and powerful versions of figures we get all the time. This gives me relief about this set.

Now this pieces is flipping amazing! At first I was confused because the dial was split but there was no dual point cost. Then I read the defense power....what a great mechanic! Wizkids keeps impressing this year.

I think that it would had been better if they had given her Morph ability that AN Beastboy has instead of Battle Promotion mechanic.

it is funky that she can potentially promote twice in a game
between the AE's, battle field promotions and the punisher swapper from IH, Wizkids is doing an excellent job of keeping the game fresh and exciting.

gotta agree that she is an odd choice for this set though... especially if there is another X-set on the horizon as mentioned earlier and given GSX hasn't been retired yet.

i'm mostly looking forward to the iron man of the set. i know we've had a lot of him, but i wanna play 1st appearence avengers in modern

Interesting, and very fun way to handle the secondary mutation, but I think I will stick with my GSX Emma.

now a beast boy collector's set w/6 new animal forms (ie octopus, gorilla, snake, spider, rhinocerous, pteradactyl) would be awesome

Fun new mechanic! From Monsters and mutations on down we keep getting great new versions of this sexy character to wreck with.

She is common/uncommon, she has the "transform" power, and she has (almost, except for gen x) the right keywords...

So just to say that i'm happy with her being made and the way the dial is made...

I was not expecting her in this 10th anniversary (even if there were rumors) because i don't think she is iconic enough of "marvel" but she IS iconic for the specific x-men branch of the universe, especially considering lately comics
