The modern suited Tony is a Gauntlet Buster? Stupid. It's like Kid Zoom Vs. Nightcrawler all over again.
If you have read any of the evidence threads or knew what the 10th anniversary set was, you would have known we were getting two versions of 12 different Marvel and 12 different DC characters, each of them being classic and modern versions of top characters. He's not specifically a Guantlet buster, I find this to be a very interesting piece with many different uses.

I see the best version of Iron Man we've ever seen. Makes me excited to see Spidey, though I'm getting more and more worried that he's in a Chase slot....

Pretty sure this is an Iron Man specific gimmick. And again, it's not just the gauntlet, it's relics and other recource dials as well. Can't wait for the p####ing match between Stark and Wayne.

I don't know if I am a minority or not but I love seeing lots of variants of the major heroes. I like having lots of different point value/power combinations for figures like:
And I still don't think that we have a dial that is true to the way that Spider-Man or Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) uses their powers and fights in the comics. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the new mechanics on Hal (anti-stealth) and on Spidey (50% Super-senses) but we need a closer representation to the comics. Some of the Spidey and GL dials are good but they could be more comic accurate. I also like it when the variants of these "major" heroes are slightly undercosted. I also have to admit that sometimes major figures are made to good for their points and not comic accurate (like HoT smokey feet Captain America and DC 75th Hal Jordan). which also irks me.

You're being a bit offensive for no reason. Insulting someone's ability to read is a questioning of someone's competence at a very low level.
I have not looked at any evidence threads for any of the upcoming sets. Ignorance or lack of research doesn't indicate an inability to read. Maybe you should read and brush up a bit on the English language.
And to be quite honest, I wouldn't care if the set were named "10th anniversary: Iron men, Captain Americas and Thors", it doesn't erase the fact that more Iron Men, Captain Americas and Thors aren't entirely necessary, or desired.
Sure, this particular interpretation of Iron Man is unique when compared to the 2 from CW or the 4-5 from AVM or the one from GG. But it is still just another Iron Man as far as I and many others are concerned. I will still buy these pieces, regardless of my disappointment in the overload of product and re-used sculpts/characters as of late, because I am addicted to this game. lol
rant aside: I want to know if the damage and attack SP's were put into the wrong spots... It just seems odd to have the same power overlapping on top...

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Or the figures. Or the dice. Or the map...
I'm liking the modern Iron Man. I'd like it more if it wasnt Iron Man. Who should it be? I'm not really sure I'm just over the abundance of Captain Americas, Thors, and Iron Men we've gotten lately. Yes I know this is the 10th anniversary set. Yes I understand what that means I dont need a lecture. I'm still over getting yet another Iron Man, that's all I'm saying. As far as previews go perhaps there would be less flack if the preview was Magneto, or Storm, or Marvel Girl/Phoenix.
OG Iron Man looks interesting but will take a little more finesse to work his points. Gauntlet-buster IM looks very vicious.
I was hoping one of the named powers for OG Iron Man would have referenced transistors somehow as Stan Lee loved to point out how remarkable they were and how they allowed Tony to do so much. Oh well, probably just me
Yep.
Too much negativity on the realms. If people aren't enjoying the game or the previews than they can just shush themselves. There's no reason for them to come on here when everyone's excited about a new preview and be all negative. There's my no reason.

Not by you maybe, but there are a number of people excited about this preview, myself included. They're nice looking pieces, I'm loving all of the pieces from the 10th Anniversary sets actually. They're finally doing these characters right.

Love it, beautiful sculpts, and finally a very respectible Iron Man, it was beginning to seem like Wizkids just had no idea how to make a Iron Man that could be a valuable piece, it took 10 yrs, but they seem to have finally given us a Iron Man worth playing.
Honestly I can not get enough Iron Man figures

Looks at your first sentence.
Looks at your second sentence.
Yes, that.
From the player's guide:
Quote
Section 10 Resources
General
Print and Play: For WizKids events, players can print any legitimate copy of a cardboard element from HeroClix. The printed version must not be functionally different from a legal WizKids-released version of the element.
Resources are special game elements assigned as part of your force. The effects of each resource are defined on the resource’s instruction card.
Resources are legal for use in the modern age format, dependent upon the set of release.
You may only include one resource on your force.
While the points for resources add to the overall force build total, they do not add to a character’s point value.
Resources included as part of your force can't be used by an opposing player, even if a character assigned a resource becomes friendly to an opposing player's force during the game.
INFINITY GAUNTLET
The combat symbols displayed on standard powers are representative only and do not change those of the character to which this resource is assigned.
The last sentence of Beyond Mortal Limits reads: “Character can use the effects of that gem until the beginning of your next turn as long as this power is showing.”
The character to which this resource is assigned must remain constant throughout an event.
This object is numbered R101, not S101.
The last sentence of Setup reads: “You cannot add special objects to your force if Infinity Gauntlet is part of it.”
When used in a tournament, the same gems must be used during each round.
Quote
RELICS
Relics are special objects with the following property: “Once placed on the map, this object can't be destroyed, picked up, moved, or placed. Once per game per character, the character occupying the same square as this object may be given a power action and roll a d6 that can't be rerolled. On a roll of X, place this object on that character's character card, and character can use the effects listed on this card if they can't already. When that character is defeated, place this object in the square they last occupied. At the end of the game, if an opponent's character has this object on their card or all of your characters have been defeated, your opponent scores this object.”
X is the number or range of numbers beside the word “Relic” on the object card.
The phrase “place this object on that character's character card” is simply indicating that the object is taken off the map and placed somewhere to indicate that this is the character that has it. Players can use any acceptable method to simulate this when using a character without a character card.
