Visiting a friend in the northeast. But he was having plane problems ... again. He doesn't seem to have much luck with planes. Thankfully all the problems occur on the ground before takeoff.
We had a game day yesterday, so I brought my Heroclix collection to teach people how to play and to play a few games, though I taught them the rules as of Avengers, because I hadn't had a chance to read up on what the current rules are (and my one glance told me that it would be a long read).
We had a couple of interesting games that I really enjoyed. One of the kids actually assembled a Rookie Captain Marvel (origins) and Rookie Black Adam (Unleashed) team, that was pretty hilarious. I fielded a SHIELD team with Sam Jackson Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Cap, Taskmaster, Mockingbird, and a SHIELD sniper. In the end, Captain Marvel was all that was left, but it was enough. I just couldn't stay with him after a certain point. He got rid of Widow and Hawkeye, and I then lost all of my mobility. We did have a hilarious moment when he turned into Billy mid-dial to "SHAZAM! the crap out of Fury, Sniper, and Widow, to which Fury Outwitted the Shape Change to yell out, "Shoot the kid! SHOOT THE DAMN KID!"
It gave the kids something to do, and I kept them out of everyone else's hair. Plus I brought my box full of extras so I gave each of the kids a Captain America from the Avengers set, and an Aquaman, Superman, and Batman from Icons. Which made them pretty happy and I got a hug out of it, so that was nice.
The nostalgia was definitely there, though. I do miss playing this game for the interesting moments with dials like Origins Shazam. But OMG did I remember how stupidly complicated the game was to play. With this much complication I'd still prefer playing an RPG instead.

That is great. I am pretty much out of the game for the moment. I cannot find a venue. Everywhere I try out, people are either uber-competitive (which I can enjoy sometimes) but also dicks, or people are bad sports and really grumpy, or the guys are super-super non-hygenic (like smelly bad).
Also, the game has turned hysterically into paper rock sissors. I want to be able to play some freaking fantastic four. I don't want to have to play to beat Ventry/Sentroid every frickin game. Its really annoying.
/vent.
I've been playing more board game lately with friends instead.
There is a Star Trek deck building game that my brother in law got at Barnes and Noble. Its not very balanced, but it is a lot of fun. I am not much of a trekkie, but he is. Also, he has the Wizkids trek game, which was interesting, but we haven't made it through that one.
Dominion is a lot of fun, and I am looking at picking up the new expansion (well, considering it), call Dark Ages, which looks to do some weird stuff with game play. It lets me get my geek on without getting terribly frustrated.

Playing Clix across the internets play by post is a solid substitute I've found. Competition without stink. Heroclix, with time to sit there and plan things out. And it's way less horrifyingly cutthroat.
I get a kick out of the booster draft league. 3 packs of the set, and then 3 games and a final. We just finished Origins.
Turns out, with as few players as I got, I can run it with people as whole large scale squads. It's kind of exciting. Spent hours breaking up GI Joe and Cobra into their subteams, doing research upon the subject. Be excite.
Last time I bought a car (2009), I found that Edmunds.com allows you to do online best price comparisons without actually going to a dealership. You upload the make and model that you are looking for and someone from a dealership sends you their best possible quote. Saved about $6,000 off the MSRP that way - and I too am one that hates the whole process of haggling over a car. Good luck, K!
One thing I forgot, is if you're a USAA member, you can pre-arrange a deal at certain dealerships. I pre-arranged a bunch and went on test drives. I've heard that other insurance companies offer similar programs, but I'm a USAA person, so they're the only one I know. It may be worthwhile to check it out and save yourself a hassle.
Clix in my area isn't uber-competitive, one of the few places I guess that isn't, but it just costs too much. One notable exception was the IG Thanos tourney, 6 players, 3 Ventry teams, 1 Avengers Prime team, 1 Chanos team, and my team, with Gladiator as the highest point piece.
I'm actually going to a board game day today with my city's official Board game club. Should be fun, hoping I finally get to play Kingdom Builder.
You finished the game with the following scores:
Medical: 50

You also saved the small child at the mall, in one final selfless sacrifice.
