"Many thanks," he says. But he turns around him and General Ross, seeing his son-in-law nearly taken out screams in anger. He bursts through his clothes in a bright red glow.

"My God!" says Sharon.

"By the Vistanti!" Strange says.

"Odin must us!" whispers Jane Foster.

"The gamma rays..." Bruce says watching the General turn into a great, giant....

"...Hulk. He's a real Hulk," says Bucky moving in on Vandal Savage.

"Radiation he said," Parker says aloud, "That's just like me."

"What's that kid?" the Torch asks.

"Oh, never mind me. I say a lot of crazy stuff," he replies.

"I'm okay with it if that Yankee wants to wear a Union Flag like a cape. It just makes him that much easier a target," Connor said.

"I've been dodging Indian arrows for a long time, Reb," Jack said ducking behind a tree. "You'll do no better."

"Try six thousand years of battlefield experience. That's no training that beats that," Savage said, easily disarming the youth and knocking him to the ground.

"Y'all ain't bad, Injun," Al Pratt said, "but you made a mistake, thinking I was done for. I don't back down from a fight. Not ever." He jumped on the Iriquois and brought him to the ground, pinning him and pummeling him with his fists until he didn't move any more.

So I'll take one big gamble. Wanda & Strange boosts Bucky's damage to 4; Peter makes his av 9. He attacks VS needing 8, rolls 10. Nice, 2 to VS.

Jane to heal Bruce. Needs 5, rolls 8. Heal is 3, which is perfect.

"None other," he replies.

"Wow, what would bring you here?".

"I ask myself the same thing, kid."

Green Arrow, RS to I11, attacks Strange, AV11 on DV16 +3. Gets 9. 2 to Strange. Which succeeds in giving you even more PC. Hm.

"I've seen some pretty strange stuff in this war, and most of it since I woke up this morning," Conner said, "but I still don't think I believe in magic." He shot at arrow at Strange. "Otherwise, how could I have just shot you."

"There is more to magic than parlor tricks and sleight of hand," Strange said. "But like anything else it has its limitations too."

"I can't believe you're still standing," Frank Castle said shooting the Bronze Man point blank.

"Makes your weapons seem pretty useless, huh?" the robot replied.

It's funny about the storylines within this game. I had only hinted at Dr. Strange's magical proclivities. Character-wise, it sure it hard to keep up with exactly 'who' characters are in this era.

Alfred should show as stealthed, btw.

Leadership is 5. Nice, Wanda gets it.

"I mentioned I believed we were similar," Simon Williams says, "But that won't let me allow you to hurt my company." Williams bursts through the Bronze Man's chest and pulls out his inner workings. The Bronze Man falls.

He looks to Nurse Maximoff. "Tell me now, Nurse Wanda, that you do not see a monster."

"Sir, I see no monster. Only a man in a terrible, terrible war." She smiles soflty at him.

And for the first time since his accident Simon Williams allows himself to feel a sense of normalcy and hope.
