View Poll Results: What do you pay for your single figure boosters (on average)?
If I buy a sealed mini-brick of 6 boosters, its $17.49 That translates to $70.00 for a sealed Counter Top Display.
There is a LGS that charges about $2.50 per booster the first week. If things sell well they jack the price up to $3.50 or more a booster. They fluctuate their prices - pre-orders are often high. Release day is cheap and then they boost the prices high once the see things are selling well.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
I don't buy very many of the 1 figure boosters. Except Star Trek. & that was more expensive. Counting ST? it's averaging pretty close to 2.99. All bought through the 3 local shops
Assuming that the OP is talking USD, why would you be paying more than $2.99 for non-Trek singles?
Personally, I end up paying about $2.70 thanks to a slight discount, so I chose "other" in the poll. And I buy mine at B&Ms; I could get an even better price, probably closer to $2, but for some wierd loyalty to a certain venue reason I don't...
Thanks for reading!
I am talking US dollars. I have seen boosters for as high as 5.50 US$. I just wanted to know who was buying them.
Personally, I think 2.99 is my limit, and I only pay that begrudgingly.

It varies. However, using the HOT Set as my perfect busines Model. The regular Set had 60 figures and two Chases. I purchased a Case, bought whatever else I did not get, including one other Chase, and spent about a total $350. So for 62 figures, I paid an average of $5.65 per figure. Wizkids was making money at those prices, and look at the slightly larger/thicker well designed figures we were getting then.

Wizkids was making about $1 Million a year, at this time, so they had to be making money at those prices, and look at the better quality and slightly larger/thicker well designed figures we were getting then. I think this is what they should go back to. I would be happy if it only had 55 total figures.
Thats so true.

I ordered a case of each, so my shipping was free. That helped.

I bought CTDs of Galactic Guardians and DC52 for about $44, and DC10 and M10 for $46 at my local comic shop, so a bit under $2 each. I expect the Batman CTDs will also be $46, not sure about Streets of Gotham, with the three-packs, though.
If I buy individual single figure boosters, it is at $2.99, minus my 20% store discount.
I found the cost difference buying single boosters online not worth the trouble, so I buy them at my venue, but when it comes to 5 figure booster cases, I get way better deals online, even with my venue's buyer's incentive.
