Energy explosion wouldn't have worked with his attack special. But I do agree with the incap!

He is not overpriced. This is the figure that allowed me to go toe to toe with a shi'ar empire team base BEFORE they changed their rules. Hobbies mastermind (and an army of madame masque clones) rendered hobgoblin virtually Impervious to harm from a team base that could attack 7 times. It was beautiful....I eventually lost but not before making that team base look stupid.

*Looks at dial again* Nope..He's still over priced. Cool figure, but over priced. So much Precision Strike nowadays only furthers my point, and renders him null and void.

Perhaps he's "null and void" based on your playstyle. But not to mine. If I can make the controller of a Shi'ar team base sweat after he's killed every other players team on the board than something must be right about this guy. Yes yes...precision strike is the bane to transferring damage. That's why hobby has outwit. I'm sorry but traited mastermind is down right ridiculous on this piece especially when paired with reducers. He works beautifully on a Maggia team. Don't play maggia? That's most likely why this particular figure doesn't fit your playstyle. (That's not an insult) he was designed for his Keywords just as his prime was.
