Show me where in the trait text, rules, PG, FAQ, errata it says the ability to use Shape Change ends. Outside of that we are just running around in circles so, yeah...its time for us to let the horse lie.
This will take a moment. Stick with me.
You posted.

Normalview responded quoting your question and emboldening the emboldened.

So, while it's nowhere in the text, rules, PG, FAQ, or errata, it is in Orange. In post 12.
For clarification, and so you can have something in print from WizKids, from the Comprehensive Tournament Rules, page 1, section 1.1.1, Rules Question:
Posts on message boards by TechG0D or an appointed Rules Deputy (Harpua, normalview, Quebbster, and vlad3theimpaler) are also legitimate means of rules communication.
If that's not good enough for you, nothing I say will be.

That's what I get for not quoting a power.

All true. However, I am not asking for a ruling here. As you said, one has been given. I said multiple times that I agree that it should be that way as well. What I am asking for is a clarification on why it is the way it is. The rules/text don't support it. Even if its just an orange saying "Because we/GD said so."
I'd also like to add that if the reasoning is indeed "Because we/GD said so.", that it becomes a very slippery slope. Whereas pointing out where in the rules we can find the answer to our question, leads us to be able to use said documentation to resolve similar situations for ourselves in the future.
As the power is written, Werewolf would gain a single use of Shape Change until it is attacked or it gains unlimited uses of Shape Change for the rest of the game.
