"What kind of sand can you eat? A sandwich course," the Riddler said, beating Sandman with his cane. "And personally, I think you're full of baloney, and you're going to come out the wurst from this."
"Geez. Hit me all you want, but stop it with the stupid jokes," Sandman complained.
"Now," said Catwoman, examining Mr. Freeze's gun. "How does this thing work?" She flicked a switch and filled the upper gallery with ice. "Ah. I guess that's how."
Does the barrier really cut off Venom from Bane? I mean the old middle of Venom's square to middle of Bane's doesn't cut through the barrier at all. Just sayin'.
Sandman gets an sc roll for Riddler's attack and it's a 5 so no attack on him. And Riddle's has no other option for attacking so he just takes a token.
Riddler takes 1 poison from Sandman. Needs 7, rolls 6. And no pc around to assist.
Electro does his arc lightning thing. Penguin first. Needs 8, rolls 12. Ouch. 4 to Penguin and Ivy prevents the kb. Now he can attack Ivy...but really only if we agree that Ivy prevents kb. If not, she's stealthed and he'd have to pick another target.
The figure you have Venom attacking is Two-Face, not Catwoman. He gets a SS roll and rolls a 5. Sorry.
Ivy Poisons the Rhino.
Ivy Smoke Clouds, she'll pick B7. Electro, Vulture and Sandman all take 1. Riddler too, unfortunately, but can't be helped.
Riddler's going to push on Sandman, using one of his own Contingency tokens to make his AV9 on DV16. Sandy no longer has SHape Change. Rolls the 7. Only 1 more to him, but he's off his Poison. Riddler takes 1 for pushing.
Joker on Electro, taking Riddler's other token to make his AV12 on DV16 +3 for ESD & Hindering. Gets the 7, so that's a hit for 3.

"Octopus vs. Penguin! I think I watched that on the late, late movie the other night!" Joker laughed. "And hey, here's a shocker for you!" he said shooting Electro. "Watt? You don't like my jokes? Maybe you should just go ohm then. Or make the amp throw me out of the game! Ha! I could do this all day!"
Do you think that if we continue these games that the loser should pick their team and the winner can attempt to match or not?
That was a rough turn, not decisive but deadly.
Electro tries the arc lightning thing again. He attacks Joker Thug. Needs 6, rolls 7. 2 to Thug. From Thug's square he attacks Joker. Alias is 1. Needs 8, rolls 11. Joker can mm that so 2 more to Thug, 4 total. Now he can attack Riddler from Joker's square. Needs 5 + 1, rolls 8 ( 2 4s). Riddler takes 2 and kb to A8. Endurance roll is 5.
Do you think that if we continue these games that the loser should pick their team and the winner can attempt to match or not?
I don't suppose it really matters. It can either be the reward for winning or else the consolation prize for losing, but it doesn't really give any kind of in-game advantage one way or the other. I do kind of like the idea of letting the loser choose though.
Another Poison click to Rhino.
Harley on Rhino, AV9 on DV15. Gets 12. That's a waste. He's KOd.
Joker on Electro again. AV11 on DV15 +3. Needs 7. Gets it, and Electro's down, but at least he went out with a bang after your last turn.
Catwoman shoots at Alyosha. AV10 on DV17. Gets 3. Two-Face makes it 3.
Two-Face on Venom? Shape Change is 5. Lizard then? SC is 3. AV10 on DV17. Gets 6. Misses by 1, but that activates his Your Good Luck power. He can get a freebie, got to be on Alyosha, AV10 on DV17 +2. Now he gets 7.
"Fore!" Harley yelled, swinging a massive mallet and hitting the Rhino in the back of the head. The Rhino crumpled to the ground unconscious.
"Nice shot Harl," the Joker said. "But really, if you're going to yell 'fore' you really should have hit him with a golf club. Otherwise it's not nearly as funny. Watch." He grabbed a driver from his lackey and threw it at Electro. The club whirled through the air and bonked Electro on the head perfectly. "Fore!" Joker yelled, far too late for the warning to help. "And timing is everything."
Well, I'll put it out there even though we've done it before but a 70s era Avengers vs 70s JLA feels good to me.
I'll start with Gulyadin who shouldn't have a token, his move was free last turn. He'll charge to G10 attacking Ivy. Needs 8, rolls 8. Blades is 4. She's been your biggest threat so getting to her, even though I'm probably losing the lion, is worth it.
"Bad kitty!" Ivy said, giving off a plant toxin that laid the lion low.
"Gudyalkin, my friend!" Alyosha cried out. "I will make her pay for that!" He moved to leap down to attack Ivy.
"I will say that I have more sympathy with your lion than with Ivy," Catwoman said, catching Alyosha's ankles with her whip, tripping him up. "But you're another story. Hunters, especially big game hunters, in my experience, are the scummiest scum. Finish him boys."
Two-Face and Bane took her invitation and beat and kicked Kraven mercilessly.
Kraven's got protected. So Catwoman's attack just burns off his feat and gives him a token. Two-Face would do 2, Bane would do 3 but didn't use his 2nd flurry: 6. Kraven is formally out.
Rhino takes another armor piercing click from Ivy. He'll try to finish her. Needs 6, gets 10. Ivy's out...finally.
Goblin to L11, makes Catwoman's damage 1.
Octopus to M11, making Catwoman's damage 0.
Mysterio-lite to J14, outwits Thug's poison.
Mysterio to G16.
Vulture carts Sandman to E3, carting Sand to D3, he attacks Thug. Needs 8, rolls 10. He's out.
