That said, I love sports pools.

This one works like your regular Super Bowl squares pool, but where the Superbowl pays out per quarter, this pays out each game.

My numbers are 5 for the winner and 4 for the loser. Any game that ends with the winning score as a 5 and the losing score a 4, I win.

$25 to get in.

Each game in round 1 pays out $20 (32 games), round 2 pays $30 (16 games), round 3 pays $50 (8 games), round 4 pays $75 (4 games), round 5 pays $125 (2 games), final pays $430 (1 game).

Right now I'm still down $5, but anything else puts me up.

I think it's a great concept. 100 squares with 63 chances to hit. I like those odds.

If it was me, I'd knock round 2 down to $25, bump the final to $500, and go for a nicely insulting $5 each for the first four.
