My point is that the "system" has an obvious and ridiculously unreasonable contradiction and it needed to be exposed and corrected.
Further, I consider myself a player that has the most respect for competition I encounter that has a great deal of knowledge about the rules. And I try to do the same, no matter what the game, so I won't get taken by a loophole that they've discovered and I haven't. And why woulnd't it be to the benefit of the players and judges to know where the loopholes exist?
If a player would try that TK maneuver on me in a game, I would show the judge the FAQ sections that support my argument and do all I could to get the ruling to be in my favor. And it's been my experience that the player that has the documentation and evidence at hand (and can state factually where the rules apply) can support his argument better than one that doesn't.
I accept that the head judge at an event has the final decision. However, if that decision can be influenced to my favor, why shouldn't I do it? Imo, that's no different than what college and pro coaches do.
Another thing about rules arbitrator decisions. It states clearly in the FAQ that rules arbitrator decisions are "official", but are NOT tournament legal until they are included in the FAQ.
Sorry if this question has been asked and answered, but I read in the May/June Clarifications : "When a figure uses TK to make an attack with an object, that object does not block the figure's LOF. A figure may therefore use TK to attack the target figure with stealth using the object that the target figure is using to activate that stealth ability". Sooooo, I can use the object the stealthed figure is standing to damage them?!! That's what I get from it. ANy clarifications? Thanks !!!
