i cant find any information about Victorian Regionals anywhere
can someone help me out please

As I mentioned previously, I have no information on the regional events. Please contact the stores running the events (ie Good Games Ballarat) or PM Wakandaman (the Judge) or Briscoe (the 2012 champion) for further info.

the ballarat regionals will be held this wednesday at goodgames ballarat,located on the corner of lydiard and sturt st

format is 250 sealed/ 250 constructed(modern) i think the cost is 25 dollars

we will be using the 7 single figures boosters from various sets such as lord of the rings which our judge is allowing( i really hoped it would all be modern and no chnce of silver)

Official events aside, would anyone else be keen to get a bunch of us HeroClix-ers together after one of the event days for a drink and a meal? I know a few of you by name on these forums but haven't had the pleasure of metting you in person.

sure it will be fun getting to know other players

Plus you still owe us chicken burgers from last year.

I think it would also be good for them to post everything here, as a hell of a lot of players just read these threads.

Ideally all three places should be kept up to date, ie this thread, their Facebook Page and the DraGGon website.

I'll try and get them to put a link to this thread on the FB and Con pages.

Good question!

I would say no. A previous regional winner is not eligible to win a second regional.

If you can just give your regional win to somebody else it makes it unfair to everyone else who competed in the tournament/s.

Remember that you can still enter nationals without winning a regional, you just need to pay the entry fee to do so.

Day 1 August 24th
HEROCLIX – Australian National Championships
This event will run over two days with a National Constructed & a National Sealed Champion.
Free entry to players whom won a Regionals event.
Rego: 12pm-12.45pm
Start time: 1pm
Format: Sealed Event (latest set) 300 points includes a draft.
Cost: $40
Prizes to be announced soon !!!!!!

Day 2 August 25th
HEROCLIX – Australian National Championships
This event will run over two days with a National Constructed & a National Sealed Champion.
Free entry to players whom won a Regionals event.
Rego: 12pm-12.45pm
Start time: 1pm
Format: Constructed Modern Age 400 pts
Cost: $20
Prizes to be announced soon !!!!!!

If you have won a Regionals Event entry to both days is free.

Winners of Regional events gain free entry for both days. Stores all around the country were asked if they would like to hold Regionals some declined.
In Victoria Good Games Blackburn were hosting a regionals along with Good Games Geelong.
In Perth we had Good Games St James & Tactics.
In South Australia two stores were going to host but have not heard back from them.
In Sydney we had Good Games Burwood & Hurstville will host one in August.
In Canberra we had Good Games Canberra hosting an event.

At the moment there does not appear to be any information on restrictions for the constructed event. I've asked whether there will indeed be any restrictions as has been discussed in this thread.

Hey Everyone

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all the players whom enter weekly Heroclix events and keep the game running smoothly.
Thanks to all the store and players whom are supporting the Regionals events. I am looking forward to meeting many of you at Nationals.

I have to say that yes there have been a few hitches along the way but with the support of two wonderful players Andrew & Robert, I have been able to finally plan the event.

I don't play Heroclix so it has been a rewarding though at times difficult journey in planning Nationals.
I came up with the idea to run a large event for the community of players whom love the game.
I would also like to say I have had no support from Wizkids in any way shape or form towards the event. Therefore I have tirelessly worked to co-ordinate not only Good Games stores but other stores so Regionals could run as smoothly as possible.

The only reward I am getting from this is purely the joy I know my weekly players will get out of playing in a National event.

I apoligise for the slow response to any email which have been sent to me, as along with organising this event I also have a store and staff to manage. I also have family responsibilities like all of you do.

I am excited about this event and hope for those travelling the road trip will be a great one.

p.s One small change to Day 2 in regards to restrictions. Day 2 Constructed Modern Age - Peanuts & Oreos Only which means Normal Figures & Peanut bases only.
