I know this is unrelated to your original question of selling clix, but its something that many people should know.
Many colleges and art schools have fantastic fine art photography programs and have students who are often really skilled at wedding/portrait photography.
If you're looking to save a great deal of money on the wedding I would suggest looking into a college student as your photographer, who knows, may save you enough that you dont even need to sell your clix.
I spent a few years as a wedding photographer and I know how expensive wedding photography can be.
One issue people often have is finding a fine art photographer to photograph their wedding, I suggest trying to find someone by emailing the photography department at your local school and saying roughly what you're looking to spend and the date of the wedding. The school will often reach out to their student body and the cost is usually around a few hundred dollars, as opposed to the thousands that many spend on photography.
When the school writes back to you, or you can call them, ask to meet with the person (people) they suggest, to look over their portfolio. Never go with someone you don't trust, and as part of the deal, let them use your wedding photos for their portfolio. Its pretty customary to pay half up front, the other half when you get prints/memory file back.
If you're looking for more traditional wedding photos, this may not be the best way to go, but if you're looking for some really cool, artsy, wedding photos this is probably the best option.
Just a suggestion that may help save you from selling your clix, congrats on the wedding!
another way is get those wedding 24 packs of camera from the stores and but them on the tables and let everyone be a photographer
I rarely charge shipping in the U.S.. It encourages more views, thus leading to more watchers and bids.
I have done this, and it helps, but you again have to be careful about shipping. If you are selling a $80 Thanos with free shipping, he can cost you close to $15 to ship. In the end the $80 Thanos only netted you around $50; again you have to remember Ebay and Paypal fees.
Oh, another idea, sell them here. When I get a bunch of clixes to sell, I will often sell here first. Make a list of all the clixes. Look up on Ebay what the current average closing price on those clies are. Then list those clixes on this site at about 15% off the Ebay price; I do this because by selling here I save time and do not have to pay Ebay fees. Of course you can only do this if you have a high enough I-trade rating for HCRealms; or again find a friend.
