Well, I will be sad if they change Brother Voodoo.
Otherwise...meh. Change or don't change the other items on their watch list, I don't really care.
I will be sad if GCPD gets nerfed but I can admit that it probably does need a tiny nerf. Maybe like cut the free move in half. For Bro Voodoo I think maybe either make the Mind Control not be a free action but keep the other parts of it, or maybe make him take one unavoidable after.
It's a step in the right direction and I know that playtesting doesn't catch everything, but they have to get their R&D "team" to look at this stuff before it becomes a problem, not after. Here's to hoping balance with come about.
I play for fun. Winning is fun. Doing goofy things is fun. Playing with little plastic people along with friends is fun.
I agree with everything with the exception of Brother Voodoo. His power is great and all but it is not game ending and not terrible to deal with. Everything else I am very happy they are "looking into".
I also like how they pretty much just singled out both winning Gencon teams in this. Here is hoping a Ban List is instituted or errata's come quick.
Edit: as others have said it is the other elements that make Brother Voodoo a jerk like the belt and ATA. Take those away and he is very manageable.
i dont think that i like this, while i dont like all the crazy powers that could b considerer game breaking, i hope that they dont ban anything. that was one of my favorite thing about heroclix, no ban list. yugioh and magic both have ban lists and such, what is the point of making something and then saying that you cant play them? mabey an errata or 2 but i hope they dont go crazy with the changes. mabey making crazy powers like working together a double poweraction instead of a regular poweraction should b as far of a step as they go. its cool that they acknoledge they make a mistake or didnt play test it well, but i just dont want this to go crazy
Personally I don't think Shatterstar is game breaking but that's just my opinion. I think the stipulations put on his special power are enough to keep it in check. Exceptional? Yes. Game Breaking and in need of fixing? Only time will tell of course but I'm 99% sure the answer is no.
In the ROC finals there were more Shatterstars than there were Spirals in the top 16.
I'll say it-depending on the changes, how fast they are implemented, and whether they stop some of the potential concerns arising from improved targeting?
I *might* be back.

The thing with Voodoo is that he's really fragile. Easy to hit and easy to KO. And with the advent/prevalence of Precision Strike, he just became a one-hit wonder.
Part of me hates that the whiners appear to be winning. Its not supposed to be that way. I've hated the JLA TB since day one but never complained. And I've played and seen Spiral played without breaking the game.
Still and all, if it keeps everyone's knickers un-knotted, then okay. I just don't think Voodoo deserved a spot on that list.
May all your hits be crits!

Shatterstar has one shot at getting across the map, and he's limited in terms of who can tag along with him. Most of the "problem characters" (HFH) are too expensive to place.
Copsicles!!! haha!
