Johnny Storm was torn between his desire to work with Spiderman and reuniting with his lost father and Franklin Richards. He stayed for two hours catching up with his father and playing with his nephew, then went to help Spiderman and the other street heroes try to shut down Kobra.

Firelord followed the shuttlecraft to Brainiac's skull ship and watched as Brainiac entered his ship. He then relaunched his assault on Brainiac's ship.

Moira McTaggert insisted that Xavier return her to Muir Island so that she could resume her work. Xavier decided to take her while taking along all the available New Mutants as well.

They took off in the X-Wing Blackbird, piloted by Xavier and copiloted by Warlock.

Johnny Storm found Spiderman working with Luke Cage and it occured to Johnny to ask them both to fill in to round out the F.F. in the absence of Reed and Ben. Cage had filled in for the Thing once before it seemed like a good idea.

Cage had no problem with the idea, as long as he got paid, but Spiderman said he had to think about it.

After a minute or two, the webslinger decided he owed the F.F. too much and agreed as well.

They went on to hunt out Kobra.

Firelord was getting frustrated. He was pouring all his cosmic power at Brainiac's ship and was getting nowhere. How could this opponent be so powerful?

The Xandarian scientists arrived and collected Aphrodite IX's remains. When Cyborg asked if they could repair her he was ignored. They simply hustled him along to their laboratories, giving him curt orders as to what they wanted to do. Vic began asking about Starfire and Beast Boy. They seemed to know nothing about them. He asked about Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Aquaman. These too received blank stares.

Vic was getting frustrated.

Finally, the scientists began interrogating Vic.

Meanwhile Xandar declared martial law until the threat of Brainiac was over.

Day 25: Noon, on a restored Xandar in an alternate reality as expressed in earlier posts.

Tim Drake; Robin, was exhausted. The Joker, the Riddler and many other Batvillains were running he and Nightwing ragged in the absence of Batman.

Every time they brought the two to justice, they escaped! Nightwing was as worn out as he.

His exhaustion was so intense, he literally was not aware until it was too late that he walked directly into a rift in reality.

Tara Markov looked down at her resurrected body. Her last memory was of the H.I.V.E. complex collapsing on her and killing her. yet now she lived.

She was very confused about where she was though. Why was she brought back to life here? This couldn't be Heaven. It didn't seem like Hell.

It seemed like --- like --- like the Jetson's?

Why? For what purpose? She didn't feel reformed. She still had her malevolence, though she now hated Deathstroke.

She looked at the passersby. When they saw her they avoided her, as if they expected trouble. She laughed and stirred a minor quake, resulting in screams and terror. Xandar no longer had quakes as their technology had learned to tame them and compensate. The people didn't recognize the sensations.

Terra laughed maliciously and stirred another quake.

Right then, Robin arrived via the dimensional rift. He knew Terra immediately from files he'd studied but he also knew she was supposed to be dead.

He too was thrown by the futuristic nature of Xandar and was momentarily unsure what to do.

When Terra spotted Robin, she immediately assumed it was Dick Grayson despite Tim's slighter stature and immaturity.

"So ----- you're back to being Robin, eh Dick?" She taunted.

Tim was confused, was she mistaking him for Dick Grayson? He decided to play along. "Just going back to my roots; um er, Tara."

"You looked more luscious as Nightwing,!" Tim wasn't sure how to respond to that.

Tara slinked up to Tim and draped her arms around his shoulders while holding her face dangerously close to his. "You're still cute though." Her Markovian accent was stronger with these words and Tim grabbed her arms to extricate himself from her embrace.

"I think we should try to figure out where we are, don't you?"

Presently, armed Xandarian authority figures surrounded them.

Terra began to initiate an attack but Robin stopped her. "This is their turf. We're the intruders. We must respect their law."

Terra was not at all interested in respecting their law but she was interested in Robin and decided to cooperate.

They went along with the authorities.

The reinforcements arrived and began driving Brainiac away. When Brainiac learned of the presence of Superman and Supergirl along with so many powerful others he had no choice but to retreat. The odds became too much. It didn't matter that it wasn't the right Superman. Brainiac just didn't like the odds, but he intended to come back someday.

Quasar elected to stay with Brainiac and monitor his movements. He would alert them to any threat the monster might pose.

Terra and Robin were brought to where Cyborg was. Vic gave a start at the sight of both of them. Then he realized this was the replacement Robin and not Dick.

Terra still shook him though. Terra sensed that and leered at poor Vic who remained disconcerted.

Terra and Robin were brought into separate rooms and interrogated.

Vic had already been interrogated. He was approached by Firelord.

"Thank you for trying to oppose the threat to my world. You will forever have my appreciation and admiration. You are welcome to become a citizen of Xandar."

"If it's all the same to you, I think we'd all like to return to Earth."

"We?"

"Er, I mean myself, Robin and Terra." He continued. "They're from my world as well."

"If that is you're wish. I have an acquaintance who vouches for all of you. John Stewart will escort you back to Earth."

"Thank you very much." Cyborg exclaimed. "One thing. Will that woman, er android that attacked Brainiac be all right?"

"Aphrodite IX? Our scientists are rebuilding her as we speak. Her core programming remained intact, She'll be all right."

Vic breathed a sigh of relief. He was more concerned then he felt was healthy but he couldn't help worrying.

Cyborg prepared to be delivered to Earth, along with Robin and Terra.

The trio was delivered to Earth; at Cyborg's request, to Titan's tower. Green Lantern told them not to worry about explaining themselves. He would fill the JLA in.

Robin was delivered to Gotham City, Batman was out so he checked in with Oracle. Barbara Gordon was very excited about Tim's arrival.

The Titans were very happy to see Vic but for Starfire and Garfield Logan, aka Beast Boy, the reunion with Terra was awkward.

Jolt and Natasha Irons knew immediately they were in the way for this unpleasant reunion. They faded quickly and went off to visit Songbird and Atlas.

Logan was the most badly effected. He demanded that Terra leave immediately. Vic cornered his friend and begged him to give her a chance to redeem herself. she had no where else to go and they didn't need her to get caught up in more dangerous company. At least this way they could keep an eye on her.

Now that they knew that Cyborg, Robin, Terra and Brainiac were the arrivals for day 25, Batman asked John Stewart to talk with Firelord and Nova. Batman strongly suspected Manbat had appeared somewhere; possibly Xandar, the day before. He wanted to find out and see if there might others no one knew about on Xandar. He sent the Flash to go with him to search the planet with his superspeed.

Quasar followed Brainiac's ship but made a point of remaining undetected. He was ready to signal the others if Brainiac became a problem anywhere else.

Brainiac decided he would need to work cooperatively with others if he hoped to prevail in this new universe. He learned by interfacing with Xandar's worldmind the nature of his situation. It bothered him not in the least that he was no longer in his own reality. This reality would be just fine.

He coveted the Worldmind and intended to return to Xandar to destroy the planet and take the Worldmind for his own. For that, he would need allies and the Worldmind had given him the names of the allies he might seek. Despero, Mongul, Sinestro, Maxima, Queen Bee, perhaps even Darkseid. Another option were the Manhunter robots.

There were plenty of possibilities. For now, he decided to investigate these Kree and Skrull empires he'd learned about. After that, the Saurians.

Batman located Manbat and after a brief scuffle he managed to sedate the beast and subdue him.

Batman intended to bring Manbat back to the Batcave and begin the process to turn Manbat back into Kirk Langstrom. However the enigmatic being called the Midnight Rambler appeared and kidnapped Manbat right under Batman's nose. Batman tried to stop them but the two disappeared.
