PULSE BOLT TORPEDO: Once per game, give Silver Centurion a power action to put a Torpedo special terrain marker on the map in an adjacent square. When the Torpedo is on this map, you may give Silver Centurion a free action, put an Acceleration token on this card and then move the Torpedo equal to the number of Acceleration tokens on this card as if it were a character with "wing symbol" and Improved Movement: Ignores Characters. At the beginning or end of your turn, if the marker's square is occupied by an opposing character, you must remove the marker from the map and make a close combat attack roll against that character with an attack value of 11 and a damage value equal to the number of Acceleration tokens on this card, maximum 7.
Yep, SC takes Mystics damage. Had that happen to me once already. You can also apply Perplexed values (as the replacements are not locked) and use PC if you can see SC. You could also surround SC with Empower characters.
Personally, despite this being the default ruling, I am expecting errata to say "locked" at very least. And there might be some errata about the free-action loophole of moving the Torpedo out from under an opposing character.
Won't get you very far in this game. I could point to half a dozen rulings in just the past few weeks that are seriously counter-intuitive to what I though was my very through understanding of the game.
On the other hand, I do agree that the Pulse Bolt Torpedo is from Iron Man and thus if he has a Relic/Resource then the Pulse Bolt attack on an MV10 Iron Man would trigger his Adaptive Armor. There just isn't much precedent for attacks being made independent of the character generating them.

And just to clarify, you can move the torpedo once before it has to blow up since its a free action to move it and you can do that at the first of your turn, correct?

I think we are still waiting on a final word on this. It seems like yes so far but not sure that has been locked down.
I would agree with all of that, as it is ruled right now.
So if he can the bonus stats from something like the gauntlet or a perplex, would the torpedo also be able to use +2 stats from godhood on its movement also?

Hmm, I'm wondering since it's SC's game effect that creates the torpedo, does it really matter if it's SC or the torpedo dealing the damage it's still damage from a character assigned a resource. I would say all damage from a character or from any game effect that character creates that deals damage is damage from a character assigned a resource.

I don't believe so, since the move is equal to the number of acceleration tokens and is never actually a "movement value" that can be modified.

Because resources are assigned during construction and the marker is made once the game began it does matter.
If someone hit Eva with the disintegration beam on a roll of 10 or higher it would not remove a resource from Fantomex.
