"Fighting's the last thing I want to do with you," Archangel said, diving at Spider-Woman, wing knives flying.
"Well, I gotta say, you've pretty much just ruined your chances of getting dinner and a movie," Spider-Woman said using her agility to dodge them all.
"Keep them busy! Don't let them get a breaher!" Cyclops said, strafing after the Wasp while Cable kept Spider-Man occupied with his own attacks.
It was all the Scarlet Witch could do to manipulate events to help protect her teammates, and so was caught unawares when Namor came out of the sky to tackle her. "Wanda!" Captain America shouted a warning, but too late.
"Thou varlet!" Thor snarled at Namor. "Thou shalt pay for that base act!"
"Come then, Asgardian! I await your attempt to chastise me!" Namor called defiantly.
Ouch. Brutal turn. Before we go on....Forge needs a power action to gain perplex requiring use of an object. Without that, Wanda's still around. Also and either way, Namor takes 1 for mystics bashing.
Wanda has mystical wards and can force a reroll: 6. Actually maybe she can't use that and pc but it's moot this time, it's still a hit.
Once again, Namor is at 1 for mystic bashing.
Enter the Vision in P23. He's kind of expensive but I'll play the LE from Chaos Wars. He attacks Namor. Needs 6, rolls 5. Wanda makes it 9. 2 to him.
Moony tks Thor to P20.
Thor targets Namor and Archangel. Rolls 4.
Iron Fist uses Mighty Hammer and Chain on Namor. Rolls 6 which means he can plop him in P14 and make a close combat attack. Needs 6, rolls 4. Has pummel: 4 again. Man, how much do I need to make a hit this turn?
Vision outwits Angel's invulnerable so Spider-Woman can attack. Needs 7, rolls 10. 2 to him.
Cap rs to N21 making his av 11 and attacking Angel. Needs 6, rolls 7. 2 more to him. Getting a 7, Cap can snag Angel into a duel.
Rising through the ground the Vision reaches through Archangel's chest and tugs at his heart. "You would do well to listen to Ms. Frost, Angel. Or is the moniker Archangel? Records show a great deal of back and forth in this matter."
Cap finishes him off with his shield, "It's a moot point, Vision, but it's good to have you on board."
"Yes," the Vision replies emotionlessly and yet earnestly, "And it is good to be here."
With rolling the 7s for Duels, didn't we use to play it that if you roll a 7, you choose to use it on the attack or forego the attack and go into a duel instead (leaving the figure free to make a first strike in the duek) In the other game, that's how I had played it. If I was mistaken then okay, Angel's KO and we'll move on, but pretty sure that's what we did, in which case Cap only gets the one attack on Angel, not both.
In the past we've allowed the duel initiator either to ignore the first attack (that triggers the duel) or not. If we chose not to ignore the duel creating attack, the duel initiator takes a token for the first and second attacks. In this case Cap gets a token for attacking and dragging Angel into a duel, he gets a second token for attacking again in the duel.
This is how we did it initially when we began the A v X last year. Unless you see a problem with this I think this is the way we should continue.
Wasp needs 6 to hit Namor with stunning blow, rolls 7. Hmmmm...imperv is 2. A token and 1 to Namor. She'll pull Forge into a duel. Since Forge is no longer in the area the rest are, his team does not get his bonus.
Thor on Namor. Needs 6, rolls 8. 1 more to Namor.
Spider-Woman pounces to Q15 trying to incap Namor. Needs 5, rolls 11. A token to Namor, a click to Spider-Woman.

Cyclops takes two of Magneto's tokens to make his AV13, RS to G13, shoots at Thor, DV16 +2. Gets 4. Magik can't help. Should have just taken ALL Magneto's tokens I guess, but 5 or better. I figured I could do a 5 or better. Really should have known better.
