Just bought the JL52 version and its on its way to me.

Enjoyed using Connor and even the Starro Archers quite a few times as well.

For some reason my 104 pt version was cursed though....just like my Winter Soldier, rolled crit misses a lot and no move and attack hurts.

The Ollie in JLU was a great representation of the character and felt very true to the Ollie that I had grown up with in the page of Justice League of America and Green Lantern/Green Arrow.

He has move and attack, four clicks of it!

He just doesn't start with it and that makes a world of difference.

In fact, if he had that "Rooftop Archer" that grants Running Shot and Leap/Climb on his first click and Stealth on the second, he would be a pretty phenomenal figure. It would also synergize better with that opening click of ES/D.

One of my all-time favorite pieces is the B&B green arrow/green lantern duo. When 75th came out, I would pair them up with John Stewart and have a whole squad of guys with 18 defense with ESD. It was a blast. That duo fig was so much fun! Very versatile and vulnerable. Great combo.
My favorite game against a friend of mine was the first time I played Stewart with them. He had Ganthet hit Stewart for several clicks, right onto the ESD sharing power. I quickly moved the duo up to him and heard, "Wait…What? Well….that sucks." It was great.

That would be a YEAR LONG article at this point!

Good article, but I feel that both Jl ga and nu52 ga have been hurt by rules changes (-1 damage to second attack) which is unfortunate, as Jl ga has been one of my favorite pieces.

Keep in mind that they haven't 100% finalized the watch list rulings yet. This will more than likely remain true, but it isn't set in stone.

Oh I hear ya. It would be intense. I was just referring to people being passionate about the character and that I'd be one of those hijacking it.

I have all of the pieces, save for the latest one. I have proudly used them all. Green Arrow has been my favorite character for quite sometime.

Landing on the 18 Defense Click on the 104 point version is always priceless. Remember a match when it came down to Arrow and Canary (From Justice League I think) vs one of the old convention pucks, Ant-Man or The Atom. No way for the puck to hurt me with 0 dmg and only incap. Ollie and Canary on their last clicks with 18 and 17 Willpower, needing crit hits to hurt the thing. He was even on the edge of elevated, so if I crit, off he would go. It went about 20 minutes waiting to see who would crit hit or crit miss first. Of course Ollie came through.

Not every character can say that every version of them in clix is worth playing, but Ollie can.

Just a note; an013 V Green Arrow feels the most like the character from the TV show.

True, but for NU52 GA, he gains so much from the change to Energy Explosion that it's easily worth it.

The Mike Grell series is a pretty good take for a more "adult" look at the character.

Maybe done in stages or one on top ten vanilla Supermans and one on alternate versions of Superman.

The rules change hurts him, but it doesn't make him unplayable. -1 damage from the second attack? Meh.
