Well, I've always maintained that Morgan is thematic for my team. The Queens Vengeance was just an altered reality, and her trait comes from the first story of the run on which my team is based.

No that team would fall under the Secret Wars rule I am sure

So if I want to run an alternate reality team, 2 members of that team have to be clixed and I have to core draft them? 616 versions of those characters aren't allowed in altered/alternate reality teams core drafts? Do I have that rule right?

That's correct for alternate reality teams.
We include altered reality characters (eg Flashpoint) with the standard versions on the grounds that they're temporary changes rather than distinct in, say, 616 and the Ultimate universes are.

Yeah. You could draft an AoA X-Men team with Nightcrawler and Jean, even though those are the only two AoA X-Men in existence. You could later draft Iceman even though he's not AoA Iceman, but he would be open to theft from a theme team.

You could have them on your team, but just not in the initial Core.
For example, you really want to run Avengers, but Doombot has taken them.
You could Core Movie Captain America and Thor. Then pick up 616 versions of Vision, She-Hulk, and Hawkeye.
What you can't do is Core Ultimate Cap and Movie Thor.
I'll be honest, for those asking to be PMed when it is your turn. I won't be doing that. You miss the 24 hour deadline you get skipped. Gotta start paying attention to the threads.

Actually there's 3 more. X-man, Cyclops, and Dark Beast.
