The Emerald Empress and the Persuader took Validus back to the planet Orando, which she had taken over. The presence of Validus pretty much cemented her hold on the planet. No one dared defy her now.

For the Emerald Empress' part, she had the Midnight Rambler to thank for her ability to control Validus. Before this, only Tharok could manage the brute.

The Atom Smasher was still recovering from the burns received from his fight with Chemo and he was forced to have Doctor Midnight treat them.

Doctor Strange and Zatanna called in the DC Enchantress and the Shaman to conjure a spell to protect the two Atlantis' from the threat of the Deep Ones and the Brine Witches.

The four of them worked out a spell that made both Atlantis' repellant to the denizens of Cthulhu.

This relieved Namor and Aquaman from having to cope with an ongoing siege. It also freed up the Defenders, Orion and Big Barda from having to adjust to trying to live underwater.

Now Namor, Aquaman and Marrina could become proactive rather then reactive. They could go out and deal with the menace away from their home.

Giganta had to get used to her new surroundings. Everything was kind of weird. Dr. Psycho, The Cheetah, and others staying with Felix Faust? Now she was with Felix Faust too? It was all very odd. Giganta was a scientist. It was hard for her to feel comfortable with a necromancer like Felix Faust.

The Cheetah explained to Giganta where she was and what was going on.

Colossal Boy was very happy to see his missing teammates but was missing his other teammates.

Like all the other Legion members, Kid Quantum was new to him but was seeming oddly familiar, like he really ought to know who she was. That was mildly irritating.

He threw himself into the task of helping to protect Smallville from Walker incursion to distract him.

The rest of the day progressed without any major events. Captain Atom, Wonder Woman and Hercules stayed in Symkaria to watch for any other new arrivals.

Wonder Woman struck up a friendship with Silver Sable while she watched for new arrivals, though it was strongly suspected that there would be no other appearances since seven different heroes and villains appeared all at once, unlike previous appearances.

After Batman sent Alloy to Midway City, he pondered the recent arrivals.

The past three days seemed to be devoted to inundating the world with supernatural threats.

Before that; three X-Men appeared on the planet Durla. Home to a member of the LSH and ostensibly part of the DC universe's future.

This was the location three Marvel superheroes appeared. A while back, several heroes and villains from the DC universe appeared on Xandar, a planet belonging to the Marvel universe.

Batman definitely was seeing a pattern. Marvel heroes appearing at cities that only seemed to exist in the DC universe. The heroes from DC always seemed to appear in cities where Marvel heroes seemed to dominate, such as Toronto.

This incident with the various giants was something new though. It meant that Batman shouldn't get comfortable with a pattern. It may change.
