Yeah, that was some pretty bad rolling. Still, I hated to complain since you rolled that 3.

Disciples of the Darkhold Turn 13:

1) "Enough!" Morgan clasps her hands before her and spits out a short string of inhuman words. There is a short pause and then a burst of black energy erupts from her (Pulse Wave). 9 AV vs 16 DV (Cultist/Namor) vs 17 DV (Hellstrom) vs 13 DV (Verona), needs a 4 for Verona and an 8 for all. Roll is [3, 3], only poor Verona is struck. The blast deals her 1 damage and hurls her out of the wreckage to K-13.

I guess Morgan gains 1 SA for that?

2) Umar sees the vampire thrown aside and smiles to herself. She thrusts a fist at Namor and blasts him with a bolt of arcane energy (RCE, +2 AV). 11 AV vs 17 DV, needs a 6. Roll is [3, 1], misses.

3) Scarecrow kicks away the stone that caught his foot and again attempts to advance upon Clea. Breaks away with Plasticity, roll is -- 4, succeeds. He steps to P-10, taking a click for the push. He grasps his pitchfork tightly and leers at the woman.

4) "CAW! CAW! CAW!" The Murder of Crows attempts to swirl around to the rear of Silver Surfer. Break away roll is -- 5, succeeds. The Murder sweeps to P-9, where is flutters about its master screeching infernally.

The cultist and Verona both stare at Morgan it awe (clear).

2) "At last, we come to this. I ... will ... not ... be denied!" Morgan holds both hands before her and great gouts of purple energy writhe into being in her palms. Purple lightning erupts from this display of power, sweeping out from her and washing over everything for 10 paces in all directions (pulse wave). 9 AV vs 17 DV (Scarecrow/Hellstrom) vs 15 DV (Namor/cultist) vs 12 DV (Verona), needs a 3 for Verona and an 8 for all. Roll is [4, 4], hits everyone. Scarecrow, Hellstrom, Namor, the cultist and Verona and struck by the brutal chain lightning and take 1 click each. Namor slumps to the ground (KOed) and Verona bursts into flame before turning to ash and blowing away in the wind (KOed). Hellstrom (K-12), Scarecrow (K-13) and the cultist (I-14) are thrown back from the force of the blast (knockback).

Morgan gains 1 SA and 2 KOs.

3) "Ha, Ha, Ha!" Scarecrow leers at Hellstrom. "You wanna see a trick the witch gave to me when she brought me back, devil-man?" Scarecrow grips his pitchfork tightly with both hands and draws himself to his full height. Slowly, but with an ever-increasing speed, the tears in his cloths self-mend and the blast marks on his flesh fade away. Scarecrow regenerates, roll is -- 6! He heals 4 clicks.

"AHH HA HA HA!!!!"

The cultist pulls forth a chain from around his neck and clutches the black stone affixed there to his lips. He begins to intone a sinister chant (he will use PC against any successful roll that Hellstrom makes).

Umar looks pleased (clears).
