I like the 8th place team. Crimson Cowl is a very effective tie-up and support (Leadership, MoE) choice.
That 9th place team is probably the most expensive I've seen.
*is the person who came in 8th*
Thank you very much, Crimson is currently one of if not the cheapest ( to lazy to check ) MoE combine that with leadership as if she were 150 pts and I was able to act every turn and still stay top dial.

Lol the 9th place team was mine. I just couldn't figure out how to fit paralax on there too. For the record my bat belt has plastique explosives and a med kit with shark repellant on the sidelines. Think I should swap to iron pharoh now that hes more than the entitys? Lol
My give-a-crap-ometer is incredibly low
Always willing to trade MTG for clix just let me know what you need!
This argument is tiresome and I don't care either way but I could be wrong but looks like 13/16 Teams listed here had Entities. Roughly 80% of the winning Team Builds.
Who knows how the games themselves played out: who rolled critical hits, who positioned poorly, etc.
So just because winning team didnt have an Entity doesn't absolve that they are unequivocally brkn.
Sorry, don't see a argument here - statement, yes - argument no.
For the record, I have no problem with entities and find them no more broken that UB, hammers, gauntlet, power plant or any other resource. IMO they are GOOD for the GAME by creating interest and diversity (see top 16)
Gone are the days of 16 metron and nightcrawler teams facing off.
I find it humorous that someone is willing to pay someone else to prove HIS point - too funny.

I think Dark_Knight means that he finds it sad that you feel the need to sully this thread with some old threads disagreements. No element is good for the game if only a select few can have it.
Congrats to the Resources. Clearly the most important part of the game these days.
"When the going gets weird, the weird go pro." - Hunter S. Thompson"
"Victim? Victim? Do you think this letter on my chest stands for AMERICA?" - you have been getting insulted by nextwave.
Blind al lets you give Bill a click to get him on his finder power. 2 perplexes. And yes alpha strike but that team forces opponent to come - otherwise you can just sit there stacking rings.
What do people mean when they say stacking rings? Like putting multiple rings on a single character? I'm not familiar with the plant so forgive the noob question. It is nice to see teams made without entities for sure but there is no denying that they will be a presence in high end tournament play for a while.

Ring Selection - At the beginning of your turn, you may choose a Ring, remove it from the Power Plant and place it on a friendly character's card. That character can use that Ring's effects as if it were a relic. When that character clears, return any Rings on its character card onto the Power Plant.
Yes multiple on a character. As long as you are not clearing the rings stay. So you could sit there every turn putting various rings on them to setup an even better attack/defense. As long as the character with the ring isn't clearing tokens the rings stay. So you cant let this team just sit there, but its also hard to rush it, hence why its winning.
Check the different rings out in the Units section and imaginw multiples on Bullseye(s).

To the participants, congrats!
Nice to know you are the mouth piece for Dark_Knight. Is this a official designation or telepathically you knew what he was going to say and thought to save him a few key strokes.

Oh - let me add:
"To the participants, congrats!"
as to not "sully"" the thread.
You are right, I do not know what he was thinking, but I assume he was trying to be polite. That didn't seem to help so I thought I'd clarify for you. Also the guy you are talking about with the $100 was speaking in reference to a large national type of event not ROC's and qualifiers.
Let me put it this way;
I think it is sad that you need to bring up old crap wherever you go and that you needed to be reminded to congratulate the participants.
My friend clixfreak actually beat that Bullseye team in the first round of qualifing....If you win map roll just choose an indoor map with alot of walls....Pretty much nuiffys the Range
