I think the comparison is apt. Maps can be as important as the figures in determining a game's outcome.

No thank you? I've never heard anyone complain that "People bring too many maps to events." If anything, it's the opposite and people are thankful that they had the right map with them.

At first, I was rather unhappy with the idea of limiting maps as well. After giving it some thought however, I decided maps are an extremely critical part of game play and as such probably need to be regulated like anything else.
So overall, makes my Dragon Con bag easier to pack and less maps to worry with contingency plans for. Thanks.
RE: 2015 ROC format: I am not for banning figures either. However, am I the only one picturing tables full of 300 pt. Bizarro v 300 pt. Bizarro qualifying matches? I love the Rocs, don't get me wrong, I will be at as many as I can regardless, but considering the restrictions (no team bases, tactics, etc.) doesn't 300 point Bizarro stand out as a sad little point, click and hope option that the tournaments would be better without? I'm sure some disagree, but I would love to see it out.

Without the Phoenix Force to grant Mystics I think Double Bullseye (or tons of other teams that can fit 2x Precision Strike) could ping it to death and with the double PC & possible/probable Alpha Strike Bizarro's dice would have to severly favor Bizarro IMO... but I could be totally wrong. I'd need to see more of GotG and certainly whatever the next 3-4 months brings to MA.

He can be beat, for sure. The main team I'm looking at right now handles him pretty easily, actually. I just think the tournament would be better without a sea of them on the table. I know that was just a quick example, but a no tactics double Bullseye team can be extremely hampered movement wise on certain maps and you have 220 points into two pieces with a 17 defense from range with no damage reducers that get erased in 6 clicks... rock/paper/scissors wise, you might get through a Bizzaro, but you get wiped against a lot of other teams. I just believe that with team bases and entities out, Bizarro becomes an unbalanced presence in the game. What I would actually love to see is Orazzib tokens considered tactics, then you could still run him at 25 pts. (a great meta option, actually) so no figures would be banned, technically. Anybody like that idea? Like I said before, I'll be at as many as I can regardless, just expressing an opinion.

At 25 points, he has 1 Orrazib token. So a 25 point Bizarro would still utilize the tokens you want to consider tactics.

If a match ends with figures remaining on the board, but with both players having scored the same amount of victory points, deal 1 damage to every character remaining on both teams simultaneously. Recalculate victory points to determine winner. Repeat process until tie is broken or until all figures have been removed from the map.

True. Semantics would have to be changed significantly to make him work as a 25 pt. figure... And again, I was not advocating an actual change to have them converted to tactics (that would be silly), just trying to find a balance within the constraints of the proposed format. Thanks for pointing out the flaw in my proposal, however. Guess we'll be seeing plenty of Bizarros, lol.

Yes, technically speaking, undoing his tokens would mean he can only be played at 300 & is 12 clicks long, KO'd when he crosses his starting line. On the plus side: you definitely wouldn't see him played.
