Aleta, Kid Quantum and Major Victory (using a borrowed Legion flight ring) were homing in on the area where Aleta sensed the threat.

They flew together with purpose.

Lex Luthor had brokered a deal enabling him to meet Victor Von Doom.

They spoke of common enemies. They appealed to each other's intellect. Eventually, they brokered an alliance which included Kang the Conqueror who was already Doom's ally.

Day 46: Noon, in an alternate reality on a replicated Daxam.

Johann Kraus; B.P.R.D. operative, had not noticed the absence of Hellboy because Hellboy had resigned from the B.P.R.D. to pursue his personal demons.

So when a rift appeared. Johann Kraus fell right into the trap.

Johann Kraus arrived on Daxam and was faced with a B.P.R.D. tech, a grunt and a former operative, Sidney Leach.

Johann Kraus asked what was going on. The other three shrugged and didn't know.

As the four of them were noting their surroundings and the giant Red Sun in the sky, Ben Daimo and the other infected B.P.R.D. agents emerged from the cavern, Daimo supporting the wounded coroner.

Johann Kraus couldn't believe that Daimo was alive.

Ben Daimo saw Johann Kraus and knew trouble was brewing but it was hard to worry about what Johann Kraus might do when something horrible was going on in his own body right now.

The other agents rushed to greet them and help with the wounded coroner.

Eventually the story came out and the new arrivals knew better then to go near the eggs in the cavern.

Hellboy continued to fight for his life against seven Xenomorphs.

The Aliens were wary of Hellboy's Right Hand of Doom and were trying to evade it when attacking Hellboy, with mixed results.

Hellboy's weapons were useless against the Xenomorphs and it was only his prodigious strength and Right Hand of Doom that were keeping him alive. He'd suffered several painful wounds but each of them were healing rapidly. His healing powers were a great help but he couldn't keep this up forever, especially if more Xenomorphs showed up.

There, he managed to kill another one.

Johann Kraus' anger toward Ben Daimo nearly blinded him toward what his medium powers were trying to tell him. That Hellboy was inside the caverns, fighting for his life.

The only help available were himself, Sidney Leach and the B.P.R.D. grunt that appeared when he did.

They left the new B.P.R.D. tech to aid the others and rushed into the cavern to find and assist Hellboy.

Right about then, Aleta and Major Victory of the Guardians of the Galaxy appeared along with Kid Quantum of the Legion of Superheroes.

Johann Kraus, Sidney Leach and the others had already entered the cavern.

Kis Quantum asked what was going on and got the story from Ben Daimo.

Aleta was given the task to take the four wounded to a Daxamite hospital while Kid Quantum called for the other Legion members on Daxam to join them.

Major Victory and Kid Quantum then moved into the cavern to investigate.

Johann Kraus and the others carefully skirted the nest of eggs to avoid triggering an attack and moved further into the caverns where they could hear the sounds of a fight.

They had no idea what they were getting into.

Johan Kraus, Sidney Leach and the B.P.R.D. grunt came upon the sight of Hellboy fighting for his life against a small horde of some of the most frightening monsters any of them had ever seen.

The grunt and Sidney Leach began shooting at the Xenomorphs and were dismayed when the bullets bounced off their exoskeletons.
Luckily for them, the Xenomorphs didn't even notice as they were focused on Hellboy.

Kid Quantum and Major Victory approached the eggs carefully. Kid Quantum used her powers on the eggs, placing them in stasis. Now they could not hatch.

She then ordered Major Victory to gather them. He placed the rest of the unhatched eggs on the underside of his shield, which happened to also be Captain America's shield.

They then carried the eggs out to the open air.

After removing them from the shield, Kid Quantum remained with the eggs until the rest of the Legion could show up while Vance Astro; Major Victory, went back in to help whoever was in the caverns that needed help.

Johann Kraus wanted to help Hellboy but none of his powers or Sidney Leach's seemed to be very useful to help. It was very obvious that bullets were useless.

The B.P.R.D. grunt accidentally stepped in the blood of a fallen Xenomorph and lost his foot before he could react.

Unfortunately for them, his screams diverted the attention of two Xenomorphs who turned toward the three newcomers.

Aleta delivered the four B.P.R.D. members infected by the Xenomorphs to a Daxam hospital, unfortunately, only interns and junior doctors were available as only two thirds of the general Daxam population had appeared yet.

So no one knew how to treat the problems and all they could do was place the patients under observation.
