At the beginning of the turn, would an opponent be able to use Sidestep (or some other free action movement/placement) to move next to Lex and count as beginning the turn adjacent to Lex for the remainder of the turn?

Based on the answer I got to this question the answer is no.

Yep. Even if they side stepped out during the beginning of the turn, they were in it when the turn began.

This does go both ways though. A character could start their turn adjacent to Lex, sidestep away, and unleash a heavily Enhanced/PD'd Psychic Blast on him or something.

And one could still sidestep adjacent to him and Poison. There are ways to deal with him, he's just a LOT harder to tolerate in Sealed.

Ooh, good point!! Lex bases your PB figure without attacking... you TK or Sidestep (we need to figure out a universal shorthand for Sidestep) to get the friendly away from Lex and blast him down his dial.
