As you get your skill cards, pming me standing orders for the following cards will speed up the game. Saying "Does anyone want to play Evasive Maneuvers now?" and waiting for everyone to say "no" is boring.
Evasive Maneuvers example: "Only use EM to prevent my Viper from being shot down."
Investigative Committee example: "Use on any Crisis skill check with a difficulty of 10 or more or any skill check that could cause us to lose fuel or food."
Strategic Planning example: "Use on any attack on the basestar."
Scientific Research example: "Do not use ever. I'm saving these to use on a skill check."
So I can only draw 3 to start because thats what the skill hand limit is, correct?
If so I'll draw 1 Tactics, 1 Piloting, and 1 Engineering
Skill hand limit is 10 but you don't discard extra cards until the turn's end.
You draw cards at the beginning of your turn and as your action if you so choose (at the Research Lab for instance). You may need to use these cards during other players' turns. So if nobody started with cards, everyone but Nifty would be very weak on Nifty's turn, everyone but Nifty and Calm would be weak on Calm's turn, etc.
So to give everyone some power until their first turn, everyone starts with 3 skill cards. Except Nifty. He just draws normally because his turn is first.
