Well, as has been discussed, this is almost totally unviable at any ROC Event. Forcing a 0 point draw is totally worthless during Swiss rounds, as it'll always result in a dual 0-point loss.
WK Events is another story though. You're ensuring yourself a 50% chance at victory, albeit with 0 points. I'd rather play, honestly, but if someone insists on running this then there's not really a way to stop them.
The one thing I see here is easy collusion though. If anyone running this team actually attempted to play a match (against anything that wasn't Copycat) and lost, it'd be an easy call to just claim they were throwing it on purpose.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
For some people this is a strong team, since there are those whose chances of winning any given match is generally less than 50%.
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!
Yup, silver ring. I assume to stop these kind of shenanigans.
Nah, you can under build at just grasshopper to make it work.
I jumped without looking on Sandman just because you'd have the option to see that you could actually win the match and play it out if you wanted to. Sandman alone is 100% board jump shenanigans with no counter.
At least with capture you have a chance to release the OMA before a roll off or zero point win if I'm not mistaken. Wouldn't friendly mind control, capture, release work in the right situation or does it go to roll off/zero point win as soon as the mind control capture ends?

Correct. You score any points whatsoever and just peace out. I think my odds of playing straight and winning are better than 50% if I used an actual team. I went 7-0 in a recent meta event (though it was pretty small/local and I was using Zombies) and usually win every local monthly OP I care about. So I'm at least a decent player in my small pond. I often like playing the villain for fun (For example, I won our last Yu-Gi-Oh event using all pogs from the resource- except the 50 pointer, which I used on the resource- as my YGO half of the build, just so I could play a Marvel theme team). But I don't know if I could go THIS far. Like I told my girlfriend... I'd be HATED... unless my roll offs were lucky and I win the whole thing... Then I'd be legend.
I'm strongly considering building a team with this in mind for our State ROC championship.
No, I'm not kidding.
Don't bring this tech to a ROC. Mopedkid mentions above you would go winless with 0 points with this strategy. 0 point ties equal a double loss for Roc's. You want to build a team that can score points and then remove all your characters from the map.

Unless your idea is just to go there to screw over anyone you play in the swiss rounds
Dice rolls will be the bane of my competitive Heroclix career.
