A "professional" anything is somebody that gets paid to do something.
Usually money.
But some people might say that the little prize plastic pieces that are the LEs
are pretty close to making the winner of them a "professional".
Especially if the Prize Package won contains a bunch of highly desirable items
that can easily and quickly be converted to money.
ps. Did the just completed ROC Cup give away a large amount of cash to the winner?
I guess we can say the young man is a "professional" HeroClix player.
By that definition, wouldn't anyone who wins money on a lottery ticket be a professional gambler?
Perhaps a better defintion of professional would be one who makes a living doing something.

The funny thing was, after the roll off terminate described, the two players wanted to continue the argument instead of filling out there score sheets. I had the threaten to DQ both of them for holding up the pairings. They got the message pretty quick then.

Wouldnt someone who wins a million dollars by buying a lottery ticket make a living playing the lottery?
I believe if you make money doing it you are considered a professional if that is the highest boundary of that activity. Uncle Sam certainly considers you a professional. The nuance may be that you need to make a profit beyond your costs.

C can ignore blocking terrain for LOF. The I's are walls and the X's are just clear terrain. Can C use TK to move B to A?
I originally said that this could be done, but I'm now editing this to reflect my new decision. All three have to have line of fire to each other to pull off TK correctly and while you CAN draw line of fire from C to B, the same cannot be said in reverse.

This is exactly right, and your initial answer was the exact reason I asked the question. A lot of people don't grasp that in order for a TK to be legal, the lines of fire have to be clear both ways.
We did have one roll off, but it was not for a ruling.
It was a "he said/he said" situation. I called "last action" and player 1 said he declared before I said anything and player 2 said no he did not.
Since they could not agree, nor would the wrong person admit as much (I suspected one was not being fully honest) I made them roll off for it.
I forced a roll off, too, to settle a somewhat dink-y dispute over a player adjusting a position for his Running Shot move before rolling dice.
Player A: I was just counting out the squares.
Player B: But you moved the fig.
Me: (Internally SMH) Roll off on it in the time-honored HC fashion.

He DID put "professional" in quotation marks.

Just so you know, in this example, I see you as being the dink. If he hasn't rolled his dice yet, I don't see a problem with him readjusting where he placed his character.
