Map: Avengers Tower (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
The Justice League took cover in the Stark Tower in hopes of fighting the battle on their terms. As the Dark Justice League advanced, Iron Man shot “Captain America” with a repulsor beam that nearly knocked him out and Batman and Superman nearly took down Venom.
The Dark Justice League was undeterred as they knew that reinforcements were on their way and continued the advance. Batman was the first Justice League member to fall when Ultron and Venom teamed up to take him out.
Seeing Baron Stucker and his Hydra lackeys arrived to assist in taking down the Justice League, Iron Man unleashed two repulsor beams taking “Captain America” and the Hydra Field Agent out. Ironman continued to his assault on the Hydra force by taking a Hydra Soldier.
Meanwhile, Black Adam, Venom, Bullseye and Ultron continued to advance. Spider-man unleashed a combo on Black Adam of a refrigerator and a left hook that sent the pretend Superman scurrying from the battle. Venom slung a statue at Hawkeye knocking him out. Spider-man avenged Hawkeye with a flurry of hits to eliminate Venom from the fight. Red Skull arrived to join the battle but was immediately hit with a Conference Table by Superman which left the Sinestro Corp Member in heap on the floor. Bullseye and Captain Boomerang took advantage of Spider-man putting all his attention on Venom to shoot him down.
Baron Stucker and his men were able to escape Iron Man’s assault when Wolverine and Brotherhood arrived. Iron Man left Strucker to immediately strike down the Scarlet Witch and damage wolverine who was unable to heal himself. It was at this point that Superman was able to rally Iron Man and they combined to take out Strucker only to have the Baron throw is Hydra Recruits to take the blows for him.
By this time three Sentinels had arrived. They combined with Ultron to overwhelm the Kryptonian, leaving Iron man as the lone Justice League member standing. Things only got worse for Iron Man as Black Adam returned, in his own outfit, with the Suicide Squad. Strucker, Bullseye and Elektra combined to put Iron Man down for the count.
Black Adam, Ultron and Strucker gloated about their decisive victory. Deadshot and Dr. Psycho wondered why they wasted the trip.

Hawkeye sat on the floor of the hanger, head leaning back against the wall as the others talked strategy. Something in the pit of his stomach was gnawing at him. Alarms going off in the back of his mind.
So he wasn't surprised when the gorgeous brunette came running in like she owned the place, heels clicking across the cement floors yelling for them to run.
"Lois, you can't be here--" Superman started to say, but the woman cut him off.
"They're coming for you. Clark, you've got to get out of here, right now," Lois Lane said. "Our copters saw a metahuman wearing a black and white version of your uniform heading this way, trailing lightning--"
"Ms. Lane, before we get ourselves killed here, I just have to say, that as a fellow newspaper journalist, I have nothing but the--" Spider-Man started saying, while simultaneously Tony was saying: "You couldn't have called his cell phone to tell us this?"
Clint heard footsteps outside the hanger. He stood up and nocked and arrow.
"Guys," he said. "It's too late."
And then everything went pear-shaped.
Dramatic Retelling:
The teams meet head on inside Ferris Airfield's office building. The Justice League, following Batman's orders, use the tight space to try to control the shape of the battle using bottlenecks. Even still, fast moving combatants Venom and Black Adam get close enough to strike. Adam batters Iron Man's armor significantly already, metal squealing under a mighty punch.
The heroes use their positioning to their advantage, where an isolated Black Adam takes an arrow from Hawkeye, a devastating attack from Batman who has outwitted the magic-based anti-hero's defenses, and opens him up to a shot from Spider-man as well. Superman, holding the line elsewhere, goes toe to toe with Venom and the symbiote is the worse for wear from it.
Bullseye delivers a nasty attack circumventing all of Spider-Man's defenses. Iron Man, trying to hold a corridor, is caught in a ping-pong battle between an Ultron Drone wearing his own Iron face and Black Adam's blistering attacks. Batman yanks his head around as he hears the morbid sound of Tony's armor grinding, Iron Man smashed to the ground unmoving. But something about Adam's attack gives away a weakness to Batman's trained eyes, and, with a perfectly placed batarang, hits Adam in the eyeball. The immortal warrior, screaming in pain, flies up through the ceiling, leaving the battle.
Meanwhile, Spidey and Hawkeye are confronted by a man in star-spangled armor.
"Steve?" Spidey says, attempting to engulf the red, white, and blue hero in webbing and missing. Hawkeye narrows his eyes at Captain America but decides against harming him, breaking away and sending a nasty running shot into the Ultron drone, damaging him but not taking him out of the fight. Elsewhere, Superman tires of the symbiote's methods and smashes Venom to the ground with an overhand strike, taking him out of the fight.
Suddenly, an alarm sounds.
"Incoming," Batman says. "We've got a Hydra assault team on site."
"Oh you've got to be kidding me," Hawkeye says, firing an arrow off to take out the Ultron drone as Superman severely injures Captain Boomerang. Footsteps echo through the facility as Crossbones leads a team of field agents and infiltrators on site as Captain America slams his shield into Spider-Man's face.
"Dude, we're friends!" Spidey says, tasting blood as his teeth bit into his own lip.
Batman, unsentimental as always, bypasses Captain America's defenses with a brutal batarang attack. Spider-Man looks at his ally askance--"What the heck, Bats?"--before Hawkeye puts an arrow in Captain America as well. He shrugs at Spidey.
"That ain't Steve, Pete," he says, nocking another arrow.
"More reinforcements," Batman says. A perfectly timed batarang throw knocks Captain America out of the fight. "We'll figure out HIS situation afterward," the Dark Knight says. "Ninjas incoming."
"Ninjas? We have NINJAS now?" Spidey says as Hawkeye, locked up in a fight with a Hydra infiltrator, takes the man out with a swing of his bow, too close to make a ranged shot. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots Captain Boomerang lining up for an attack.
Spider-Man makes quick work of a field agent, but Bullseye, who had temporarily turned his attention to Superman, takes aim at Spider-Man again. Spidey barely has time to make a joke about green being last year's color to the agent before his Spider-Senses tingle. He's not fast enough to prevent the knife from piercing his back, between the ribs. He falls to the ground, gasping, unable to fight on.
Superman, enraged at Bullseye, tries to blast him with heat vision and misses. Hawkeye, remaining somewhat calmer despite watching his ally gasping for air on the floor, manages to not only put an arrow in Bulleye's shoulder, but snaps off a quick shot, hitting Captain Boomerang in the gut.
"It won't kill you fast, but you won't be throwing any more boomerangs," Clint says. Batman, meanwhile, knocks out the first ninja he encounters with one vicious haymaker to the face.
The heroes begin to rally, with Superman, with great prejudice, taking Bullseye out of the fight. Batman disables another ninja with a perfectly placed batarang.
Silver Samurai comes face to face with Batman. The two warriors face off, Silver Samurai bowing to his enemy.
"You are a great warrior, Dark Knight," he says. "It will be an honor to defeat you in combat."
Batman doesn't justify the samurai with a response, blocking his first slash easily with an armored gauntlet as Hawkeye, out of nowhere, fires an ineffectual arrow at Silver Samurai, bouncing off his armor.
And then another alarm sounds.
"Gentlemen, I think we can assume this is a conspiracy," Batman says. "We have Brotherhood members entering the facility."
Hawkeye just lets loose a string of obscenities, but Superman is more coherent.
"Luthor," Superman says. "This is his doing."
Quicksilver, Wolverine, and Killer Croc move in rapidly, as Batman and Silver Samurai battle. Batman's speed helps against the silver warrior, and a pot-shot from Hawkeye doesn't hurt either.
"What," Hawkeye says as the samurai glares at him. "I'm a circus carnie, not a samurai. I have a way, way different code of honor than you do, man."
Superman, who has been pestered but unwounded by rounds and rounds of bullets from Crossbones' gatling gun, grows frustrated and incinerates the man's gear with heat vision. Crossbones, being no fool, retreats from the battle.
Hawkeye spots a weakness in Samurai's armor as he battles Batman and places a perfectly placed arrow in the samurai's armored plating. Silver Samurai falls to the ground, incapacitated. Batman glares at Hawkeye, who shrugs at him, readying another arrow. Batman, mildly annoyed, takes out a Hydra Annihil-agent with a swift attack before locking eyes with a suddenly visible Wolverine.
The last remaining Hydra agent sneaks up behind Lois Lane and shoots her in the shoulder. As she cries out, Superman charges at the agent, knocking him out with one punch.
The Brotherhood moves in viciously, Croc and Wolverine surrounding Batman.
"I've wanted to kill you for a long time," Wolverine says, slashing at Batman, ripping his armor but not doing much damage.
Superman shatters every window in the building to rush to his friend's aid, battering Wolverine brutally. Quicksilver charges right up into Hawkeye's face, but Clint swings his bow with perfect timing, connecting with the speeder's kneecap, Quicksilver crying out in shock and pain.
Batman can't seem to get out from around Croc and Wolverine. Superman splits his attention clobbering Wolverine enough to take the mutant out of the fight and severely wounding Croc.
Hawkeye and Quicksilver go toe to toe and it looks bad for the archer, but a couple of bungled steps and pure dumb luck combine to leave Barton still standing and the speedster on the ground, unconscious.
"I have no idea what just happened," Hawkeye said. "But I'll take it."
And then Batman's alarms sound again.
"Sentinels," is all Batman can utter as he patches up adamantium claw wounds on his armor and eyes Killer Croc as the reptilian villain launches another attack and misses. An arrow whistles by and hits the monstrous creature in the throat.
"That won't kill him, you know," Batman says.
"Harder to fight with a punctured windpipe though," Hawkeye says as a variety of armored robots enter the building. "Oh come ON!" the archer yells.
The remaining heroes pick away at the relatively weak drones, Hawkeye taking out pink, poison-spewing humanoid sentinels from a distance, Superman and Batman combining to stop one robot shaped like a woman. The biggest drone, however, blasts at Lois to get her out of the way of Superman, and the reporter cries out as she's knocked to the ground, her status as living or dead unclear from her crumpled form.
Superman, devastated at seeing Lois fall, leads the team's attack on the remaining sentinels. Hawkeye runs into trouble against the remaining humanoid--"I am not going to be poisoned to death by a pink claymation monster!" he yells--and Batman's voice is grim when his alarm system pings again.
"No," Clint says.
"The Suicide Squad is on site," Batman says. His voice is unreadable to anyone except Superman, who senses something he has never heard in his friend before. Wavering confidence.
"Hawkeye, we've got them bottlenecked at the main entrance. We need you to--"
"On it, Superman," Hawkeye says, putting an arrow through the brain center of the last humanoid. Batman takes out one more drone and readies himself for the next round.
Suicide Squad charges in, the ranged fighters hanging back while Titania and Shaggy Man take point. The two bruisers encounter Superman--alone they'd be outmatched, but together, they're able to do a bit of damage, though between Superman's healing abilities and Shaggy Man's, it's basically a pillow fight between giants.
Meanwhile, Batman and Elektra meet face to face in the hallway as the assassin cuts the Dark Knight off from his attempt to flank the Squad from behind.
Hawkeye runs along the back of the building to come in from another entrance. Seeing the fight between Batman and Elektra, Hawkeye decides to speed the test of skill up a bit by putting an arrow in the assassin's back.
"That's twice you owe me," Hawkeye says. Batman grunts and moves on.
Superman's fight with Shaggy Man and Titania seems like spitting into the wind until Deadshot takes aim. A green-tinged bullet tears through the Man of Steel's otherwise impervious skin.
"Kryptonite bullets. What else," the sniper says.
Hawkeye tries to join his remaining teammates, finishing one straggler Sentinel drone. He finds himself face to face with the Hood, both guns drawn.
"Time to find out if you're faster with bow than I am with my guns," the Hood says.
Hawkeye smirks and puts an arrow through the career criminal without hesitation.
"We have a winner," Barton says. But just beyond the fallen body of the Hood, he sees Deadshot taking aim.
Dr. Psycho yelps in terror as Batman comes around the corner and confronts him. The diminutive villain is able to zap the Dark Knight's brain, staggering him, but Batman, frustration running high, takes down the little mentalist.
Batman looks up just in time to see Deadshot put bullet through Hawkeye. Unsure if his ally is dead or alive, Batman rushes to take on the sniper in hand to hand combat.
The kryptonite bullet lodged inside Superman's body has weakened him enough for the combined efforts of Titania and Shaggy Man to subdue him, though Titania is a wreck, barely standing. They turn their attention from the fallen hero just in time to see Deadshot fire again, putting Hawkeye down. No one sees whether the archer is dead or alive, though, as Batman, with a series of brutal moves, takes Deadshot out of the fight.
And suddenly it is the Dark Knight against a pair of brutes.
Batman sees Titania is weakened and makes sure to knock her out first. The warrior woman has little fight left in her by the time she trades blows with Batman and is an easy victory.
Shaggy Man, though, has had a moment for his insane healing abilities to bring him up to full strength.
Amidst the sounds of fighting, Lois Lane opens her eyes. She's wounded, barely able to move, but she watches through half-lidded eyes as Batman takes on the enormous monstrosity, fighting it to nearly a stand still. The fight lasts longer than it has any right to, a mere man against a machine made to live forever. Finally, blow after blow, punch after punch, the Dark Knight drops to one knee, and Shaggy Man drives home one ferocious punch, Batman's limp body falling over.
Lois Lane closes her eyes, and soon the sounds of the injured and dying fade away too as she sinks into unconsciousness.
Results:
The Justice League made it 24 or more rounds. It came down to Batman versus Shaggy Man standing in for the Abominable Snowman. I won't lie... It came down to the LAST ROLL. That Superman Leadership healing power kept Bats, Supes, and Clint alive way, way longer than either of us thought would be possible. Certain rounds were just luck (the Hydra teams couldn't hit the broadside of a Star Destroyer, either wave) and the Brotherhood was really just defeated by the healing rolls. Superman rolled five or six every round he really needed to. It was NUTS.
The map helped keep them alive, too. Strategic use of the bottleneck points on the Ferris Aircraft map meant no matter how many villains were on the map, they weren't able to really gang up to full effect.
This was crazy.

Reason: Arrows are not boomerangs. (Fixed word)
Results: Justice League arrive on the scene where a group of villians imitating them are wrecking havok on the city. The once hero wonderman has replaced his w with a s. Captain Boomering has a batman suit on. Trick shot has a... well he has his normal costume on because he always has copied hawkeyes style. Ultron is using one of ironmans compromised suits from an previous engagement and Venom who has a red and blue suit similar to Spidermans. Luckily the fight is an an abandom warehouse near the shore. The members of the Justice League did not want to meet at Starks base for it would draw to much attention.
The battle starts out with Ultron carrying trickshot in a prime location to see the middle area to give support to the other heavy hitters. Wonderman carrying the Aussie picks up a giant barrell found on an abandon stuff ready to destroy anyone who crosses their path. Venom already disobeying Captain Boomering's orders seems to only care about his blood vengence with Spiderman. Ironman well knowing Spidermans weakness to Venom has decided to team up and make sure to take down Venom first. Hawekeye stays back and is waiting until a shot opens up for him. Spiderman and Batman are not liking these imposters ruining their image and wants them to bring the fight to them. Superman charges Ultron but Ultron moves just in time to dodge the attack. What a 'critical miss' by Superman that could cost his team dearly. Batman sneaks behind trickshot and tackles him to the ground one story below dealing significant damage. Spiderman not wanting to be disadvantaged by Venom webs across the map and uses his momentom to knock trickshot down to what seems like his finishing point. Ultron with no hesistation drags Superman using his Jet-Propeled juggernaut power and pulse waves Superman, Bruce, Peter, and finishing trickshot. "Worthy Sacrifice" he says.
In return Batman exploits Ultrons weaknesses knocking his admantium shielding off. On the other side of the battle hawkeye shoots Cap Boom as Ironman outwits goes away. This gives Wonderman a chance to charge and takes down hawkeye with his heavy object and one shot KO's him.
In round 2, Captain Boomering who after taking ample damage calls for back up. Deadpool and 4 Hydra soldiers show up to to try to turn the table. Soon after reforcements arrived the combination of Wonderman, Venom, Deadpool and 2 Hydra agents become to much for Iron Man. Batman, Superman, and Spiderman have overcome bigger odds then this and wont go down easily as Batman expolits Ultrons weakness again taking him out. As the Dark Avengers used their shier numbers to almost take out Superman, he retreated back to a safe area carrying Batman leaving Spiderman in enemy terriotory by himself. Batman takes out Deadpool. As Spiderman uses his agility of a spider gets away from Venom, the Brotherhood of Mutants show up. Wonderman takes out Batman. Supermans leadership has gotten Superman and Spiderman to fulll strength. With Supermans 19, SS, traited invulnerability it deosnt seem like the 9-2 odds are that steep that is until he sees that the Sentential unit has arrived. After a hard fought battle between Spiderman and Venom, Venom goes down but in return puts Spiderman onto his last click. With Supermans leadership healing ability both are surviving the crazy 13-2 odds. Suicide Squad shows up and Deadshot takes down Spiderman. Superman built with anger charges and 1 shot ko's Deadshot. Red Skull uses his sinistro corp powers gets ranged combat expert.
Superman using his powered by earths yellow sun trait, he has the ability to break away from any close counters to inflict damage on vunelarable enemies. Superman takes out Wolverine. Finnaly after to back to back blows the Abon Snowmen puts Superman onto his last click and Red Skull finishes him off. The Justice League survived a remarkable 27 Rounds!!
It was an intense fight, with neither side giving up an easy victory. Unfortunately Superman couldn't roll Leadership to save his life, otherwise the JL could have beat these teams! I didn't have enough Hydra goons to replenish their ranks fully come wave 3, but in the end it was Ultron beating the pants off anyone in his crosshairs and Wolverine being Wolverine that took down the heroes.

Dramatic Retelling of Events:
The two groups didn’t hold back, they converged in the middle of the room. Batman quickly assessed the two worst threats as Black Adam and Ultron.
“Adam! It’s not very smart to wear someone else’s uniform,” Batman called out as he ducked behind a planter.
Superman picked up the heaviest object in the room, a purple anchor. “That’s my family’s crest!” he shouted as he smashed it down on Adam’s head.
Tendrils of lightning curled around the anchor, pulsing a couple of times like the beating of a heart, and finally stopping. Bullseye, shaken by the immediate, one-shot loss of Black Adam, let an arrow fly toward the Caped Crusader. . .to no avail.
“But, I never miss. . .”
Captain America lunged forward, cracking his shield into Superman’s jaw as he ran past him to engage Spider-Man, but Spider-Man was ready for him. He sliced into Cap with his newly acquired “talons”, effectively eviscerating whomever was impersonating his star-spangled ally. The fake Captain America fell in a bloody heap.
Tony Stark had forgotten how big and clunky the Phoenixbuster armor was. He lumbered clumsily forward, like a student driver trying to learn how to use a clutch. He pointed the palm repulsors at his chosen enemy and initiated the fire command, only to realize too late that the Phoenixbuster hand was still clenched in a fist. The palm repulsor fired. Warning alarms went off inside Tony’s helmet and an electronic voice said, “Damage sustained in palm actuators.”
Captain Boomerang and Bullseye sent out a barrage of projectiles at Superman doing little more that tearing his cape. Batman sent a batarang twirling toward his imposter from the cover of the planter.
“Oy! That smarts!” Digger exclaimed.
Hawkeye moved into position and called out, “Duck! Duck! Goose!” as he let three arrows fly toward Captain Boomerang, Ultron, and Bullseye. Captain Boomerang fell to the ground muttering something about a “Dirty Blighter”. Bullseye grunted through the pain of the arrow sticking out of his shoulder. Ultron silently assessed the scratch on its metallic shell and the damage inflicted on its teammates as he returned fire on Hawkeye. Hawkeye ducked, but not before Ultron’s energy blast left him smelling of singed leather and smoking hair.
Superman wound up for a right cross to Ultron’s jaw actuators, and the Phoenixbuster lined up for a shot at the robot, but Ultron’s grabbed the wounded Bullseye and the cowering Venom. It brought both of them up in front of itself as human shields. Instead of connecting with metallic plates, Superman’s fist met the meaty pulp of the Hawkeye imposter. The wind was knocked from his lungs as he crumpled to the floor in a painful heap. Simultaneously, Venom was vaporized by the rail gun mounted on the shoulder of the Phoenixbuster.
“Fragile organics.” Ultron muttered in electronically simulated disdain. “You all lack structural integrity.” Then it charged the planter hiding the Dark Knight Detective. Batman felt his ribs crack as Ultron hammered into his side. That was going to leave a mark.
“Heads up!” Superman called out to his teammates. “They’ve got reinforcements!”
“Whoa!” Hawkeye said as he drew another arrow. “That’s ugly.” But before he could draw his bowstring back, Superman charged Hive and his Hydra minions with a red dumpster. Hive reeled from the blow. He Raised his hand to his temple and concentrated, but the Kryptonian’s rage blocked him from turning Superman into a weapon against him own teammates.
One Hydra Agent and a new Hydra Recruit broke from the fray, ran to the next room, and drew a bead on Hawkeye. The Hydra Section Chief came to Hive’s side and rattled off two punches to Superman’s face. Amazingly, not only did the punches connect, but everyone could tell that Superman felt the punches! Superman backhanded the Section Chief reflexively. He fell before he could even hail his beloved Hydra.
“Ugly’s down!” Hawkeye declared as he released the arrow aimed at Hive’s tentacled face. It flew true and his target writhed in death throws like a beheaded snake.
Batman looked at Ultron standing over him and almost grinned as he pressed a button on his utility belt. The glove on his left hand began to crackle with electricity. Ultron immediately assessed the threat and tried to dodge, but all Batman had to do was touch Ultron. His martial arts training was faster than any of Ultron’s damaged servos. The energy arced from Batman’s glove to the conductive surface of Ultron’s metallic body and coursed through it.
“Tag,” Batman grunted as Ultron’s smoking form toppled over, “you’re it.”
Spiderman swung in from the side to tackle one of the remaining Hydra agents. “Don’t go anywhere,” he said with a kick. “The party’s just getting started.”
The Agent reeled from Spiderman’s kick to his midsection, but still had the wherewithal to brandish an aerosol can and spray poison in the wall-crawler’s direction. Spider-man couldn’t even retort with Hydra chemicals burning lungs and sinuses. His eyes watered as he gasped for breath.
Hawkeye Pulled back another arrow as more Hydra Agents and three Ninjas ran into the fray. He loosed at the Hydra agent who was plinking at him from behind a potted tree. The arrow exploded and the Hydra Agent and the Hydra Recruit fell to the ground.
In only a moment the Hydra Agents and all of the Ninjas but one had fallen. The remaining Ninja, surrounded by the angry Heroes, weighed his options. Seeing no good options open to him, he pulled an electronic device from his belt.
“Oh, no you don’t!” shouted Hawkeye as he loosed another arrow, but he was a fraction of a second too slow. The Ninja pushed a button on the remote detonator even as he fell to the ground.
The west wall exploded and in rushed Wolverine with a feral snarl. He ran straight for Hawkeye and plunged both sets of his deadly claws into the bowman’s ribcage, then he burst his arms outward in a horrible spray of blood and pleural fluid.
At the same time, Mastermind and Scarlet Witch ran behind trees in the large central planter and Toad charged across the room to Batman. Toad’s foot connected with the body armor Batman wore. The impact was still enough to knock the wind from Batman’s lungs.
Spider-Man, still woozy from the effects of the Hydra poison, swung in to attack Wolverine, but was coughing and hacking so much that he couldn’t land a blow. Tony, getting the hang of his mecha-styled armor, drew a bead on Toad. The cannon fired and all that was left of Toad was a smoking crater.
Superman drew up next to Scarlet Witch. “I don’t condone hitting women,” he said.
“That’s OK,” she replied as she zapped him with two Hex Bolts. “I have no such reservations.”
Tony brought the Phoenixbuster cannon to bear on Wolverine and fired, only to hear Spider-Man’s cry of pain. His vision went blurry for a second and the forms of Spider-Man and Wolverine traded places. From behind the planter box tree, Mastermind giggled in triumph.
“Find the telepath,” Tony commanded his targeting computer. The HUD display instantly analyzed everyone in the room and zeroed in on Mastermind.
“. . .not in my head,” he said as he fired the rail gun again. Mastermind was thrown against the wall like a rotten tomato. He oozed down the wall like one too.
Spider-Man and Wolverine exchanged blows, one with adamantium claws, the other with futuristic talons. Twice, Spider-Man thought he had Wolverine on the ropes, but both times Wolverine took a breath and his wounds knit back together. Wolverine hit Spider-Man again.
Can’t just pummel him, Peter thought. Got’ta outthink him! He pulled out the aerosol can of Hydra poison and aimed it at Wolverine. Before he could get his finger on the top of the can, Wolverine lunged again and sliced through the side of the can as his claws sought Spider-Man’s torso. The can unloaded its entire contents on the feral mutant and Wolverine coughed violently three times before falling unconscious. Spider-Man had held his breath just before the can ruptured, he now flung the mostly empty can away from him—right into the planter box where Scarlet Witch was hiding. Her metabolism was nowhere near as resilient as Wolverine, or even Spider-Man, and she passed out from the effects of the residue the broken can splashed on her.
Then the Sentinels arrived.
The fractured west wall caved inward as a Mark II and a Mark V Sentinel entered what was left of the building. Immediately they began targeting Spider-Man, Phoenixbuster, and Superman with capture cables and armor-piercing rounds. Superman picked up a red dumpster and charged the Mark V, obliterating the trash receptacle in the process. The Mark V was damaged and leaking fluids, but still fought him relentlessly.
The Mark II and the damaged Phoenixbuster exchanged ordnance over everyone’s heads. Energy bolts ripped into the Sentinel just as effectively as armor-piercing ballistics tore into the Phoenixbuster. Shrapnel rained down upon the other combatants as six new figures were silhouetted in the hole in the wall. The Mark V scored a critical and felled the Phoenixbuster just as Superman delivered the coup de gras to it. The Justice League regrouped and squared off against the remaining Sentinel and the newly arrived Suicide Squad.
Titano and The Abominable Snowman were the first to enter the room. They each picked up pieces of the rubble as they ran to engage their foes. The Hood mystically transported Dr. Psycho to the middle of the room where he could get a good look at everyone. Deadshot stepped inside and methodically cocked his rifle, no hurry, no emotion in his movements. Just dead calm. Electra ran straight for Batman, katana at the ready.
“We can do this!” came Superman’s rallying voice.
“No you can’t,” Deadshot said as he pulled the trigger. Spider-Man’s shoulder exploded as the high-velocity round hit him.
Snowman smashed the rubble down on Batman. It connected, even as he dodged, but it was Electra’s blade the felled the Caped Crusader as he dodged directly toward her.
Some kind of mystical energy began to glow around the injured Wall-Crawler. His wounds sealed and his muscles flexed. He suddenly looked to be even more of a threat than the Kryptonian.
Dr. Psycho stared at Superman. “Punch your friend,” he commanded.
Superman flew to Spider-Man’s side and fought against Psycho’s control, even as he swung his fist. To his relief, Spider-Man’s spider senses warned him of the danger and Superman missed. Back to back Superman and Spider-man faced the ring of enemies, dodging some blows, taking others, but always dishing out with each swing.
“We can do this, Peter,” Superman said over his shoulder.
“No you can’t,” Deadshot replied and he fired again.
Spider-Man fell bleeding at Superman’s feet, another bullet hole piercing his torso.
“You monsters!” Superman swore as he charged Snowman, but Snowman was ready.
Faster than a giant that size should be able to move, Snowman jumped to the side and brought both is fists down upon Superman’s shoulder blades. Superman’s vision blurred and the last thing he saw before he blacked out was the gray flesh of snowman’s hand descending toward his face.
Results:
The Justice League lasted 26 rounds in this scenario. One of the biggest factors in them lasting so long was Sowero’s ability to roll Superman’s leadership early in the game. His Batman got into position on the first round and I walked right into his trap. He outwitted my Ultraman’s Impervious and charged in with Superman, and Ultraman was KOed in round 2! From then until the Brotherhood arrived it was looking like the Justice League might make it for the long haul. His luck changed when the Suicide Squad arrived and he wasn’t able to make one leadership roll after round 20. If he had made even one leadership roll while Spiderman was still active I think he would have won the game. Of the six characters I had remaining when Superman finally fell, two were on their last clicks and two were on their second-to-last clicks.
Game Highlights:
-Superman KOs Ultraman on turn 2
-Hydra Section Chief manages to land two close combat attacks and deal damage both times to Superman
-Phoenixbuster Iron Man critically fails its first attack.
-Wolverine rolls a 6 on his Blades/Claws/Fangs roll, one-shotting Hawkeye who had taken out at least four characters by that point and dealt damage to most of the other opposing characters.

These are some awesome write ups! I'm glad everyone seems to be coming close but not quite crossing the line to a Justice League victory! I'm curious to see if anyone will last through everything...

In our match, if Batman had survived one more roll vs. Shaggy "Abominable Snow" Man, Justice League would've won. We were shocked. Bats took out three Suicide Squaders by himself in the last few rounds. It was a riot.
Write up coming but Justice League won in 11 rounds, KOing everything before Brotherhood was activated. Only Hawkeye was KOed and spidey half dial. Everyone else was full dial.

You were supposed to keep going until all waves came out!
