There is still a question on this in my mind. I have not heard any official word yet though...

Anyone on the Judges Forum at WK been in on the barrier discussion? Am personally very curious about whether or not an elevated fig can fire over a grounded barrier and whether or not a grounded fig can fire over a grounded barrier if the target is elevated.
I personally liked that Impervious couldn't stop knockback damage as it made force-blast a relatively cool power. Now it's still cool, but not quite as cool as it was. I had a glimmer of hope when this thread was first started and have since had my dreams crushed. *sigh* I guess Weather Wizard will just have to go back in the box...
The Barrier question is now coming up in the game between Keleko and I -- he's got a Barrier between the grounded Titania and the elevated Black Panther. Any word yet?

Don't be too hasty. Team Weather Wizard with one of your big hitters. Taxi them in to someone with an action token, or preferably someone with 2.
Next turn, attack them, then force blast 'em away, or use RCE to finish 'em off...
Fliers with Force Blast are LOVELY.
What kind of supreme being would condone such irony?
"ABC
A character with Energy Explosion targets characters A and C with a multiple-target Energy Explosion attack, and an adjacent friendly figure uses Enhancement to increase damage dealt from this attack by 1. The attack roll hits both characters A and C, <b>and is lower than character B’s defense value as well.</b> Characters A and C are dealt a total of 2 damage (1 for energy Explosion, plus 1 for Enhancement). <b>Character B is dealt a total of 3 damage (1 for each successful “hit” from the “splash” for a total of 2, plus 1 for Enhancement)."</b>
i thought ee only does demage to figures with def =< the attacker's av + dice roll

"Energy Explosion with multiple attacks and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents, an example: Two opposing characters, A and B, are adjacent to each other. Character C has two lightning bolt symbols and the Energy Explosion power. Character C uses
Energy Explosion on both A and B, then an adjacent S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent enhances the damage. Character C is successful with both attacks, so A gets hit for 2 (1 + 1 for the S.H.I.E.L.D. enhancement). B, adjacent, gets “splash
damage” for 2 (1 + 1 for the S.H.I.E.L.D. enhancement). Then B gets hit for 2 (1 + 1 for the S.H.I.E.L.D. enhancement). A, adjacent, gets hit for 2 (1 + 1 for
the S.H.I.E.L.D. enhancement). A and B each receive a total of 4 damage." from faq july 1
so is the team ability better than enhancement?

i no shield is better than enhancement, what what about the exampole? i got it for the faq. in the first example B's defense is higher than the av + roll of the attacker. so ee does not do splash demage to B. right?
what would happen is the second example had an enchaners instead od shield. would it be 2 dem to A two to B, + 1 to each for splash, and 1 more for enchanment for splash? totaling 4 dem each?
question for outwit and perplex, the faq says it cant be used in the middle of an action, so doesnt that mean fllash cant run ito an enemy, outwit its defense ability, attack, and run away?
he could only do so if he hass lof to the target and outwit the defense ability and then do hss. right?

SHIELD and Enhancement are similar, but different. Which is better is a matter of opinion.
As for the example in the FAQ, there is a slight wording mistake that was overlooked. it should read "...and is higher than character B's defence value.....". If the attack roll is indeed lower than B's DV, then the splash damage misses him.
The example given in the FAQ is using Enhancement to add to the damage. We do not have the re-written TAs, so I am currently unsure as to how SHIELD will work in the example. Though I would expect it to work similar to Enhancement (a one time damage bonus to each fig hit by the attack).
Flash cannot use Outwit in the middle of his HSS action.
I'm not sure what you're saying about EE and Impervious. The confusion is that you talked about attacks that don't get impervious rolls (incap and MC), then you talk about EE. This sort of implyies that it also doesn't get an impervious roll, which I'm sure it must. Could you clarify this for me?
Previously, if a character with Impervious was the target of an EE attack and made his roll, the attack missed instead of the damage being reduced to 0. Since the attack missed, there was no splash damage. In the new rules, the attack hits, but is reduced to 0 for the figure with Imp. Since the attack hits, it still generates splash damage.
On the other side, if a character adjacent to the character with Imp is hit, the splash damage does not bypass Imp because Imp now states "Whenever this character takes damage....", not "When this character is the target of an attack....".
"Damage dealt from knockback and damage dealt from an attack are
considered separate sources of damage for powers such as Toughness, Invulnerability, and Impervious." from faq 10/2003
so this means if the attacker does three damage to a figure with toughness and get doubles to knock the figure into the wall, and the acttacked fig only get 2 clicks of damage?
what happens the fig loses toughness after the first 2 clicks, does knockback deal 1 more?
sorry for all the question, trying to get a grip on these new modifications

Since damage from an attack is seperate from damage from knockback, you apply the damage seperately. If, after the damage from the attack is applied, that character loses toughness, damage from the knockback is not reduced.
How about for EE: is the main attack damage from EE resolved separately from the splash damage? Needless to say his has significant consequences for the Imp/Invul/Toughness guys.
On another note, can pushing damage be Masterminded?
