This game with TopDog made me realize how terribly rusty I am. Also need to read up on all the rules changes that happened over the last year (or two). I apologize in advance for any screw ups :-D

The biggest mistake I see less experienced players make is positioning, and not considering "threat range".
Your Capt Marvel, with HSS, and Iron Goblin, with RS, could get first strike from 15 and 12 squares away, respectively. On turn 1 you moved them 7 and 9 away from my team. They could have been much further back and still able to hit my team on their next turn.
It's almost time for the Map and BFC draft. biggnatedogg has a few more picks, and TopDog isn't finished drafting the rest of the Marvle Universe (I kid, he's working on a Trade, but still has over 1000 points of his own draft to finish). I'll post the rest of the character draft in one big post.
This year for the Map and BFC draft, I'd like everyone to send in a ranked list of the elements in the order that you would prefer it drafted. Each list should have 3 Maps and 3 BFCs. I'll draft all of the elements I can, but if you run out of elements, I'll ask you for more. There is a draft list, and this will be done snake draft style. All maps are unique, and all BFCs except Ordinary Day are unique.
Here is the first round draft order for the MAP/BFC draft:
Quote
pupulesurfer
Doombot 3.1
biggnatedogg
TopDog
King O Illithids
The Bat
Afrcngy
MightyQ11
bluestun
CaptainNifty
Example of a Map/BFC draft
1. Deep Shadows BFC
2. Rainbow Bridge MAP
3. Malice BFC
4. Great Arena MAP
5. JSA Museum MAP
6. Ordinary Day
In this scenario, 1 element would be drafted each round, if somebody drafts Malice in round 3 before the above person get it, they would get Great Arena in round 3, and then in Round 6 I would ask them for another BFC.

Yeah. Part of my problem is not being able to see the pieces on the map in front of me. I get distracted easily and am pretty forgetful so paging back and forth between the post, the dials, and the map is time consuming and I almost always miss something.
Those Spider World pieces were fun though! Almost all of them have steal energy on the bottom half of the dial which made them much more durable than I initially thought. The freakishly high rolls helped too.
