Few Holes in your argument. Ill go bottom to top of your response.
1.) Go tell Last Turn or Quiz deck users that Wall of Revealing Light has only 1 purpose. To stall. Besides I didnt mention Wall of Illusions who stalls in a different way. Much more effective than most other walls, if I may add.
2.) Im glad you noted the amount of S/T destruction. Now tell me which hole that isnt banned from Official Tourneys that isnt a trap? Dark Hole only, I presume.
Now how many of those trap-based holes can be triggered on their own accord without a monster coming into play or something along those lines? Next to none. And what stops the cards you listed above from wrecking havok on your holes as badly as my walls? They can both be beaten up as easily as the other, so the flaw in my wall is inherrently in your holes too.
3.) About the Tornado Wall. Arent monsters defense for Lifepoints? If a Wall can do it, why run the monster anyway? As long as you can still win, you dont need those monsters when you got walls :P
4.) Now that screnario is just purely wrong. Walls are defensive tools. Noone plans on leaving them in attack mode unless an ambush is coming (Mirror Force, which happens to be Wall-like). I mean, would you go run into a face-up attack mode Labyrinth Wall with 2 - 3 facedown traps just sitting there?
5.) Walls are for stalling. Gives opponent something to worry about while you secretly set up your combo when they are trying to break through.
FYI: A fence is a type of wall. And in my country (Nigeria, but Africa in general) people do build WALLS around their houses. Some walls may be higher than the building itself.

And so far the Walls are winning :P LOL! Nah seriously ... holes are better.
I don't believe your admitting defeat. Well I guess I understand. I'm kinda tired of talking about this issue. Truce? But I must say some last things.
That piece of info about walls around houses I didn't know, so I learned something. But I figured a fence is not necessarily a wall, but a barricade. But then again, a wall is a barricade. So using the transitive property, a fence can be a wall.
Good point. Reverasal Quiz and Last Turn can use Wall of Revealing Light and Mirror Wall for uses other than defense. But for a majority of duelists, the issue isn't to decrease LP for the sake of pulling off that kind of win condition, so unless it's integral to the deck, it's a hinderance.
I'm not saying I'd leave Labyrinth in ATK mode, but at the same time, just leaving it in DEF mode limits it's uses while on the field. It can't attack (unless you Shield and Sword it) and if you don't tribute it quick enough, then it'll get removed eventually, so it doesn't do too much for you but sit there. And Wall of Illusion is great for uses other than stalling (bouncing back), but 1850 DEF makes me want to run this for defense. It just so happens that it has an extra feature.
True, holes have their chaining problems like walls, can't debate that.
And you run monsters with Tornado Wall for offensive purposes. I don't think you'd put all your trust on a wall that depends on another card and do nothing more while the opponent breaks through it.
