The North American–only characters are Arwyn (REV version), Boon, Bron, Natalia Kassle, Major Maxim, Ian Nottingham, Shi, and The Darkness. The European-only characters are Brit City Judge, Judge Fear, Judge Fire, Judge Mortis, Nemesis, Wulf Sternhammer, Stix, and Torquemada.
For those who are expressing deep opposition to this plan, is it based on the simple idea of having US vs UK figures, or is it baed on the exact figures used?
Most of the 2000AD characters known to American fans -- Judge Dredd, Judge Death and so on -- are represented in both sets. But keep in mind that to the *average* American fan, Judge Dredd is personified by Sly Stallone bellowing "Ahyamdaluh!"
The thing that got me about all this is that there's a character on the box who *isn't* available in the UK... Shi. I was genuinely surprised that Crusade's flagship character would get cut off like that. (Yes, I know there's the Unique, but it's not the same.)

Personally I'd prefer the US, since more Danger Girl figs are in that one, which is the only Indy characters whose comic I've ever collected.
Anybody know?
That's a tough one, Wakanda. You have the Union Jack on your flag, but you also have white stars on a blue background. They will probably decide for you by coinflip...

Aren't the value of collectable games based on the notion that some cards/figures are harder to get than others? No, wait, that was rhetorical. Man your post was funny...

Great ..never even heard of the euro only figs ..and now i'm also not getting a darkness/nothingham or R/E/V arwyn. or a major maxim...why did they use those as a preview then ..now i wanna get those cause i've seen them ..and then they tell me i can't even get them..how rude .
Wow, I'm not the ONLY one who thinks this was BOGUS! Where were half you guys when I was getting reemed on my Exclusives rant? I don't know what they were thinking. NEVER AGAIN WIZ KIDS! I want a total count of the people who can see the sheer idiocy of a desision like this. People act like overseas trading is easy! There are so many risks involved (needlessly it seems) Thanks WK, until they determine if or when to make them available to both sides of the planet, EVERYONE will have to go on Ebay to get the exclusives. GOOD LUCK outbidding an entire country of fans. I'm NOT paying 20-50 bucks for a set of REV's and if you don't think some people will drive the price up that high, the only thing "higher" is you. "Just go on ebay" Yeah right, I'lll just get in line behing the eastern seaboard.
I'm a US comic collector and I prefer the Judges. I know very little of ANY of the Indys they have chossen. But from the dials I've seen so far, the Judges have a nicer variety of powers (unlike the barrel of ninjas / blade-claw majority of the set).
I am willing to forget this set ever happened and consider it a nice way to get Starter goodies. It will at least tide me over until Marvels Cosmic Line.
Hey Litz
I think it sucks big time but at least you guys are losing a bunch of supporting characters (except Nemesis) instead of major players like we are.
I'll post the Stats for the U.K. figures later on today, when I get them.
Meanwhile, anyone buying American Indy Heroclix and wants to trade sets of exclusive figures, please contact me - I'm looking to trade, and I've been asked to oversee trades for several of my local players, too.

Hmm. This is confusing. So we here in the UK don't get Arwyn, Shi or darkness, but we *do* get their supporting casts and villains?
does this make any sense at all? I was wonderin gthat maybe there is a reason behind this split that we don't know about - you know, one of those 'corporate' reasons that never reaches the fans like the fact that Boon, Bron and Shi in the UK are names trademarked by other companies and so couldn't be released as figures here.
But now.....I have no idea. Why take out Shi but not her Unique? Why all the Danger Girls? The only thing I can think of is that Wizkids was being hit by some sort of cross-borders manipulation that hurt their business, something like the wholesalers they were supplying to were having a hard time and weren't giving them enough business because European/UK businesses were buying up the stock directly through some other means and cutting out the middle men.
Surely this will all make no difference in the UK anyway? I mean, I could go into Forbidden Planet today on the high street and say 'OI, order me 1 case of UK and one of US Indyclix'. They import stuff like japanese comics, japanese Transformers reissues, etc - so why would this pose a problem to them? The price might be higher on a US case but then I can sell my UK dupes for MASSIVE profit on Ebay to make up for the loss
And isn't natalie kassle like the marque LE for the winner ?
does this mean europe wil get a diff LE or do we get the oppurtunity to win an LE of a regular fig we can't even get our hands on ?
Once again WizKids screws over their fan base and creates an after market price gougers heaven. What they didn't tell you was this is going to be Nightcrawler all over again. At least one figure on each side of the ocean will be a rare and people will be paying crazy money on ebay for it.
This is exactly what's wrong with WizKids, it's bad enough they get us hooked on plastic crack, but then they make it near impossible to get a whole set without spending a small fortune...
The split distribution is a BAD idea. It will only make money for ebay and the postal services. I agree that it should have been a straight 120 release, with everything available everywhere.
The ASSUMPTION that Dredd etc are more "popular" in the UK than the USA is daft, and the same goes for Crossgen, only the other way round...
I, of course, want 1 each of all the figures - but (like everybody else) I have preferances - for example, while I DO want the 2000AD figs that I read 2 decades ago (yes, it is that long...) I want the CrossGen figs more. I will only get Hellboy and Witchblade to be completist - as I have no interest in those as characters or comics, but only as gaming pieces - whereas I would get Danger Girl and Kabuki if I had to sell my 40K collection to do it.
My point is that WK have failed to realise that we really are a global village - which country we happen to live in makes no odds as to which characters we want to read about or game with - that's personal preferance, not cultural.
After all, the most fervant proponants of 2000AD on the site are American - and the most fanatical CrossGen'r I know is one of the UK Judges (no, not Death, Fire, or Mortis !)
So - as gamers or collectors we are left with the fallout from a VERY VERY BAD marketing decision. Don't boycott anything, but let's hope they never do a split release again.
I'll believe they are serious about a culturaly themed release when I see Robot Archie, Gadget Man and Gimmick Kid, The Spider, and Adam Eterno in Clix ! British 60's comics, people - get cultural !!!

Noman, even that wouldn't work, because I'd sell my own mother for a Robot Archie clik. While I'm at it, I'd also like Adam Eterno, the Leopard from Lime Street, the Steel Claw, Cursitor Doom, Spellbinder, the Blue Wizard, Oakman, Tanya and Mytek the Mighty.
Heck, I'll even take a Hookjaw even though his movement on Heroclix maps would be awfully limited.
