dingo, glad to see that you appreciate the deck. wait till you see the hellfire build i've been thinking about. i should have it in the forge at the lair in a week or 2.
djsb, any time bud. we always love to see a good fiendish deck. as far as your deck goes i dropped a small suggestion for ya. but the biggest one i can give you is to not be afraid to experiment. with these new sets and structures recently and also on the horizon, we will definately need to experiment to stay ahead of the curve.
danget, now i REALLY wish i was in the lair.but like i said, i am going to learn more before i try it again.
also i was thinking last night about the new character packs.and i thought about magical mallet.wouldnt this card be nice for the archfiends?
magical mallet would be a great card for any deck. i could easily see it replacing reload and hit some sort of staple status since graceful and pog are banned. i am definately planning on fitting one in this deck when i can get my grubby little mits on one.
take your time and learn enough to get comfortable with the thought reapplying. i think you would love to see whats been going on in the lair lately.

magical mallet does very nice.i mean think about it:
player 1 has pandemonium on the field with a terrorking archfiend.he also has desrook archfiend, magical mallet, dark hole, and vilepawn archfiend in hand.
player 2 has ryu kokki,pyramid turtle,and a face down monster on his field.
player 1's turn.activates magical mallet.puts vilepawn archfiend into deck.draws card.activates dark hole.pandemonium activates.searches out same vilepawn that he just put into deck back into hand.
you just drew an extra card and destroyed all opponents monsters (and yours of course).
there are many more comboes with magical mallet and archfiends.that was just something off the top of my head. ;)

I used to like running Archfiends but they died out for a while. I can now see with all the targetting destruction (BTH and Smashing don't target) found in Exiled and Triple Sakuretsus (DDWL doesn't target but I'm not sure about DDA), Archfiends can maintain nice field presence--and isn't that what this meta is all about?
I just have 2 thoughts, don't listen to me, I thought you could use Magician of Faith (sided probably) and maybe perhaps Terraforming. 9/10

lol, i have falling down in my side deck. i tend to break it out against the occasional deck that can out beatdown my arches.
bahamut: i have been tempted in the past and still occasionally am when it comes to MoF. but for what ever stupid reason (maybe just bull-headed) i haven't side decked it. must be the anti-cc in me.

LOL! I hear that. There are some cards which it seems I don't play out of spite just because everyone else does. And don't even get me started on Cyber Dragon....
lol, give up a 1 for 1 that has a posiblility to be a 2 for 1 for a card that let me do nothing more than try and roll a dice that appearently already failed once? um.... no.
quite simply, i would rather make my opponent depleat his hand for trying to destroy pandimonium or even trying to clear the monster zone with a non targeting effect like dark hole or vortex.
i top 8 with it regularly at my local but never had a chance to take it to a regonal though. its never lost to tomato control and runs very well against your typical cc, never getting whiped out 0-2 and still running about 60-75% victory rate against them. i normally don't lose to a deck so much as i end up losing to very good duelists.
when played right, i usually win most drag out duels because this deck has a strong abilty to out resource my opponent. but i still have some major troubles against aggresive burns and some stall decks. i think this is mostly a side boarding issue.
Thanks for the r/f on my deck. Im not too accustomed with Archfiends but based on what everyone is saying and since you do tend to top 8 at our tourney's, I believe the only thing you can do is tweak and playtest. Are you planning on comin to regionals with us? it would be sweet. Also i hope you'll be at Paradox this weekend.:p
