personally, i would drop the frog for maby kycoo the goast destroyer, to try and control those chaos decks, but thats all i can see that might need changing, and even that is preference
goblin attack force is not needed in this deck it just causes annoyance because unless you do direct damage hes kinda useless.
-2 GAF
+2 Horus LV4
Treeborn frog with decrees is not needed it will just prove to be a useless card when decree is out. Maybe add another reaper WAIT NO SANGAN BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!
-1 Reinforcement of the army
+1 Nobleman of Extermination
Level Modulation is a horrible card. Even if you get lv 8 out it does not mean they wont pull a chaos sorcerer out or something else to get rid of him.
Now that magical mallet is out swap out the Reload for Mallet.
What do you mean GAF isn't needed in this deck? This deck is half warrior toolbox. That means I want many options available for my Reinforcement of the Army, and GAF's high ATK is one of those options. I more often than not attack directly with it. He's also good for getting rid of other monsters like Cyber Dragon.
Horus LV4 doesn't belong in this deck. It is too weak and too slow most of the time. His space is better used by my warriors.
I've used Sangan before but I decided other cards were more important. Why do I need Sangan when my </= 1500 monsters are already searchable by Mystic Tomato or Reinforcement of the Army, which I am not dropping. Sure Treeborn isn't searchable by those, but who is going to search out thwir Treeborn? I already have 2 Nobleman of Extermination and three would not help. Last night I was wishing I had my Stamping Destructions back because a lot of the cards i was seeing were face up. A third Nobleman of Extermination would just have been more dead drawing.
Level Modulation is an awsome card. Besides Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted, what cards are used to bring monsters back? Level Mod gives me another option and lets me bring back my LV8 which the other cards can't do.
I only have 1 Magical Mallet and it's in my spellcaster deck because Dark Eradicator only works with normal spells. I prefer Reload the rest of the time.
I appreciate you looking at my deck Crovax, but your suggestions are things that I've already tried/thought of and I think they would hurt me more than they would help.
automotios action unit(i have no idea if that is spelled right), can bring monsters back, and soul resurection...
just thought i would answer your question
I wasn't actually asking that to get an answer. I was just making a point that there aren't a lot of monster recovery cards used and that's one reason for why I use Level Modulation. Thanks though.
Interesting, you've made a lot of changes I probably wouldn't agree with, but it is your deck and your style of play. I'll voice my opinion like the others have, but you didnt listen to them so mine will probably be shot down like the rest :) lol.
First off, I don't think Goblins have a place in here, especially for a Dark deck.. I would rather run a Pitch-Black Warwolf instead of those guys. Then you could probably take out the Decrees, which would hurt your Treeborn, for something like 2 Solemn Judgements that would give your hard-earned Lvl 8 great protection. (Especially if you do use Level Modulation and they draw Chaos Sorcerer). Also, Reload is a good card, but I think Pot of Avarice owns it. Especially since it would let you re-use your Lvl guys and Mystic Tomatoes and let you draw two cards. (After all if you're letting your opponent draw two cards wouldn't you want two cards?)
Nice deck though, 7/10.
Mind giving my Light-Dragon deck a glance?

I listened to all of them. I just didn't agree with all of them. I don't mean to shoot down suggestions. I just want to explain why I do/don't agree with them.

This isn't a dark deck though. It's a Horus/Warrior Hybrid with the intent of locking my opponent using Horus and Royal Decree. Because I was running Don Zaloog and wanted to run Spirit Reaper, I dropped the original dragon theme and added Mystic Tomato. That gave the deck a Dark aspect, but didn't make it a dark deck. It runs more smoothly and a little faster with the dark support and less dragons. As for Pitch-Black Warwolf, I could see using him instead of Mirage Dragon. They do the same thing. I just have to decide which one would work better with the deck. Neither one is searchable, so it doesn't really matter which one I use.

I took Treeborn Frog out a long time ago. I decided that he isn't as godly as many people make him sound. I'm considering putting him back in my side deck though.
I do want Solemn Judgements. I'm working on getting some for a couple of my decks.
I've tried using Pot of Avarice many times, but I just don't like it. I don't think you should compare Reload and Pot. They are completely different. I would use Magical Mallet over Reload, but Reload's chainability is more worth it. It makes a good target for spell/trap destruction. Since I'm locking traps, I want to have more quickplay spells. I'm also working on getting Enemy Controllers again.
