I'm not too concerned about the newer cards. I'll worry about them when i manage to get them. Besides, I'll be going to the release event, so it should really give me a heads up to what's in it, what's good, and what's been nerfed. I don't want to prepare a whole deck for these cards and then it turns out they were made into crap through translation.
I think it fair that the new set be used in continentals, though. After all, the set is available to all players. It would only be unfair if it only released it certain areas first and across the country later.

the second reason doesn't apply to me, since at this rate it looks like I won't be able to go. :(
Just saying:
1. Bajura was not restricted in Japan. All of the cards that saw nerf jobs in English game were proved to be unfair/broken in JP meta. So, if Bajura didn't get restricted there, then I'm guessing that it won't get nerfed here. But, you never know these things. Emeral stayed in its original form tho it's restricted in Japan (due to their broken ST draw spells, which are also restricted).
2. I get excited about all kinds of cards--good ones, dimissed ones, underplayed ones, overrated ones, bad ones--just my nature, lol. So, I'm saying Bajura seems cool to me, and has a very dominating effect if you can drop it. I won't say "you'll never be able to drop it ever" (since it evos off armored Dragons which are expensive) b/c I've been able to drop the 13 mana Invincible spells, deck out all opponents in a tourney, and play King Tsunami. So, I feel that a lot is possible, and with the mana hungry decks I love to play I'd hate to have a 3-shield breaking, huge, 2 mana-crunching, summoning sickness-less thing dropped on me, lol.
That's all I was saying...tho not very well before, lol.

True, but then, wasn't Intense Evil unrestricted in Japan, where it gave TWO cards per creature destroyed through its effect? Just going by what I believe Ryoma has said in the past. Point being: unrestricted cards can still be altered.

Oops, forgot about Intense Evil, lol. Kinda similar point to Emeral...we won't know the nerf jobs until they happen...so for now I'll anticipate the creature as is in the JP game.

By the way - your PM Box is full, I couldn't respond to your PM.
My Inbox was cleared. Hit me up with a PM. Thanks for the common/uncommon offerings. I'll most likely need them, lol.

actually, nerfed simply means that it is changed to make it worse...this word is commonly used in things that don't even apply to the jappenese, such as nerfing a certain class in a game, or nerfing a weapon/effect/spell in a game...just thought i'd clear that up, sry for reviving the topic.
