A.) You won't be able to flip them back face-up that same turn since they were just Special Summoned that turn. (And you can't use Coelacanth's effect during your opponent's turn, so no "loopholing" by using it during their End Phase and all). So you'd have to use it, then wait until your next turn while using up protection for your Fish, or risk using something like Desert Sunlight (which would till leave them in face-up Defense Position, so still unable to attack.)
..and..
B.) Depending on the number of monsters your opponent has in face-down Defense Position, you could end up giving them their own advantage.
Either way, you'd end up having to wait in some way, which would slow it down a bit. I suppose you could try out Skill Drain though...though that'd also make Coelacanth vulnerable and such...
okay non fish talk here, i think gravekeepers are uber powerful next set. hell any thing that can play necrovalley is stupid powerful. with all the graveyard oriented decks that will be played thanks to plaugespreader.
More on Fish; c'mon, we need a fish Tuner!!! Synchros would be easy to get out with Coelacanth. Want Stardust, but the only tuners are 1-2 Stars? Golden Flying/Dragonray/Angler and an Meister for the 1*, and 2 Oysters for the 2*! if a 3* tuner, Golden/Dragonray/Angler and a Macrotrema!

Water synchroing would be a pain if you used ALO...
But a fish tuner with coelacanth would definitely push this deck into competitiveness
Eh, IMO, it'd take more than just a Fish-Type Tuner to make a Deck "competitive" (and, in all honesty, if that's ALL it took, then the game has fallen A LOT farther than I thought x_x )
the best i can think of is using Teleport and Psychics in response to Coel's effect for a surprise Synchro, or Symbols of Duty with Dragonray/7 Colored on a basic Synchro like Water Spirit.
Oh yeah, the one thing i have seen screw with Fish decks badly is Zombie World; with that out, Coel's tribute a Fish effect can't go off, and there is no target for Depth Charge.
Well, thankfully, Undead World doesn't have any sort of self-protection, so it shouldn't be that difficult to get rid of. I've been testing out Orca with Torpedo Fish and Shellfish just in case, lol.
