Urgh.... I had hopes that "Truth and Shadows" was so bad that Delrio could not possibly do worse, that the only way to go was up. I stand with my idealism hopelessly crushed.

I would think Coleman would be upset as well, considering Delrio has mangled a good character he wrote beyond all recognition and salvation. For that alone, Delrio should be banned from all things Battletech.

For this ridiculous Mech-fu and utter shredding of proper Clan behavior, he should just be shot. That is all there is to it.

I think the only way WK can hope to maybe even think about regaining any credibility in their book line is to declare the triology "alternate world non-cannon", shove it aside like the family black sheep, never hire Delrio ever again, and never again mention these occurances for all eternity.

Barring that, I will not be touching any of the future Dark Age books whatsoever. The continuity has been shot in the gut and would take a miracle to salvage.

I am pissed that Mr Delrio messed up the character that Coleman created. I mean, she was great after the first time we saw her. Now shes just a non-sensicle idiot whom has mental problems.

I mean jesus, someone shoot her to get the character out of the freakin story.

Mr Coleman, please, PLEASE take back control of your characters and dont let others take ahold of them and #### on them like this!!!

P.S. I think Ill write my own novel, something that is NOT controled by wizkids and their ######ed controled plot lines.

The problem is that Anastasia Kerensky isn't Loren's character. She's WizKids' character whom Loren wrote in one novel.

The CBT authors apparently had a kind of gentleman's agreement not to use, or at least not to serious screw with, each others' characters. That's part of the reason why Archer Christofori didn't show up in Endgame (the other part being editorial incompetence).

But such an agreement is not binding and since these are freelance writers, any characters they may create in a novel are technically fair game for the other authors.

So basically, Loren can't control if others "take ahold of them and #### on them like this!"
