Details, Details.
Why ruin the beauty of a ridiculus idea with facts?

Sorry dude, my bad.
There is a bright side to using Fa Shih's that I forgot to mention. There is the symmetry of using two orders to try and prevent your opponent from using two orders.
And anybody who'd let this happen to his tankdrop is obviously not paying attention
Sure they are, but they cannot do anything about it without sending units over to deal with it.
Place a long piece of blocking with the BR Crane (w/fa shih) behind it.
The only real options for dealing with it are:
A:to charge around the corner and hope the rest of my force does not destroy you for it
B:Send over a VTOL to hit it, and hope I do not blow it out of the sky .
C: Artillery at my chopper as I artillery at your artillery.
Has worked well before, and will work well again.

I had infantry as an example. The BR has their new grapple mech that can move far enough to deal with tankdrop also.
Luftvier - sit down and think for a minute about just how utterly SILLY the idea is of a tank being carried around in a truck instead of using its own engine.
It's the stupidest thing in the world, right up there with bumperbots.
Both need to be eliminated from the game entirely. Period.
Tank drop by itself doesn't bother me...at my house we all do it to some extent. It's tank drop abuse that is the problem, and this is why the tournament scene for MW is viewed as rather cutthroat...i know guys who make tank drop look easy around my parts, some are abusive, some are just plain good. I tend to drop artillery and let tanks run on their own.
I find it annoying, but i am not in favor of getting rid of it altogether....any towed artillery piece is actually an in-game acknowledgement of tank drop because in real life there are shoot and move towed artillery units.
Croaker-
sit down and think for a minute about just how silly the idea of 10 meter tall walking tanks is.
It's the stupidest thing in the world. Yup. It must certainly be eliminated from the game! ::groan::
Ahh, the classic fallacy of 'poisoning the well'. The game is science-fiction and includes elements that seem unrealistic to current science, therefore all sorts of completely idiotic weirdness is permissible.
This is utter drivel, Luftvier.
Ten-meter-tall "walking tanks" are an integral and consistent part of a setting which has been evolved for almost twenty years.
Tanks which rely on trucks to haul them around because they can't move and fire at the same time are not. In fact, tanks which are quite capable of moving around on their own, firing on their own, and being quite capable fighting units on their own, are a long-established part of the setting.
So are 'mechs that can move about and shoot on their own, and without setting themselves on fire, either.
