I completely agree with you there - the infantry packs have always been the best LEs, in my opinion. Despite them being cool units, they have always been highly playable, and DF finally got that Kage they needed ... even if it was a lonely Kage.

They can cut back on 'mechs for LEs in my opinion - just keep popping out LE infantry packs.

hell guys if you ask me, every faction should have a "special forces" group of infantry in the form of the LE infantry pack. we have Karas Scorchers, Toras Raiders, the Davion Gaurds, the various unit s of the Dragons Fury, The killer Clowns, and Mikos Blades. so here are my ideas for other factions

Liao- Death Commandos (you know em you love em)
Stormhammers- Heimdall (after the loyal opposition group in old CBT)
JF- The hatchlings
HL- Scotland Yard
ROTS-Knights of thee sphere infantry pack (especialy the hauberk squad from ghost war)

This is actually a good sign, that people are so addicted with MW, any numbering inconsistency jerks people knees off. :)

Relax peeps, it's not worth getting any warning points out of debating over speculations on the numbering inconsistency.

Before we know it, JF is in everyone's hands, it's not even worth having anxiety and sleepless nights over it.

"Scotland Yard" for HL? Naa. Let's try the Black Watch or something. How about a unit with SU IT on the first click and bypass on the second? Mwahahahahah!

I am confident that all factions will get their LE Inf over time.

However, I think that they should definitely continue to have at least one LE of each Battlemech.
