I am still in a Gotta Catch them all mentality.:p

I collect SC, Highlanders, Mercs(only ELH, KH, and 21CL), soon to be NC and eventually(hopefully) Raselhague Dominion.

I collect three factions: Highlanders, Dragon's Fury, and Republic.

I started collecting HL and DF after Battle of Addicks (and the redemption prizes), as I had gotten a DF Schmitt and HL Schmitt in early boosters.

I was more serious about HL (liked the fluff and being the good guys), and for a time tried to pick up almost every unit, before I tuned into the HL Strat thread and realized that 2/3 of the HL units were wasted points. :) Now I just try to keep up with the playable units. With AoD and the HL/RotS merger, I have started picking up the playable RotS pieces as well.

I started playing/collecting DF more after I pulled BH in my first CA booster. Finally had a decent DF mech! A few trades/buys in recent months have yielded a semi-competitive DF force. It's fun to roll the Dragon out for a change every now and then.

I pick up some Merc units here and there, but only as fillers, so I don't really consider them a collection.

I like the fact that HL/RotS and DF force me to play completely different styles - gets the old grey matter humming. Keeps the guys at the venue guessing, too.:p

COllecting ROTS has been too hard, seeing as they have so many "High Rarity" pieces.

I only need (I think) 2 SW units to complete my collection all the way through FP: Kal Raddik and Daneel Wolf.

Anyways, I'm probably not going to "collect" anymore, just snag the pieces that are usefull...

try 2 collect all but mainly focus on 4 (have all basic figs from mwda till mwli except rep zahn, and need about 50 figs from jf)
play with BR, SC, DF and SH (am a faction purist) though liao might get interesting for BR (only have every liao fig once except some le6 figs)
hope AoD has a good repair unit for the BR players, am glad though that the kitties finaly get a cap3 and that in near future we ll see clan novacat, wich could mean clan wolf (whats left of it) will come and absorb the steelwolves. we do know that in firestorm the ultrarare fig will introduce a faction fig from the following set, could b Novacats i suppose.

I sort of collect 4 factions. Highlanders, ROTS, Bannson's and the Cats. I do not collect Mercenaries at all although I might soften that stance in AoD. Howeverm, the only faction that I collect to completetion is the Highlanders. The other 3 only to have reasonably diverse force if I want to play something a little different.

I only collect Swordsworn, though I have pieces around from just about every other faction. I will also be collecting Davion once they are here in full and absorb the Swordsworn. Beyond that I might pick up the gunslingers and mercs that interest me. Beyond that everything else is trade fodder to try to fill out my swordsworn/davion collection.

Laio and Highlanders. I just like the way they play. Don't really know why.

-Odd balls, I like to collect Knights of the Sphere and some of the Mercs (Wolves Dragoons)

I collect 4-41/2 factions.
MY greatest faction i started collecting as soon as i got my da starter and first booster , The starter contained a swkoshi and an sw demon medium tank and 2 clan ba's for wolves as well. The booster had kriya and a sw behemoth and another clan ba. I think that was the deciding factor in choosing the wolves as my first faction and my main faction. I have every piece for them up to date and multiple copies as wee.

3. Dragons Fury
4. Jade Falcons
4 1/2. I collect the Ronin mercenary faction pieces.( my freind collects swordsworn/house davion, hansons roughriders and his roomate collects all the other mercs as well as rots, liao and highlanders and as of aod bansons, we usually go in on a case together and split up the pieces as per the players factions choosen)

More than 4 but not all.

I collect Liao, DF/Kurita, Sea Fox, Mercs, SW, CJF, and Knights/Paladins in that order. I have a competetive 450/600 in every faction for Scenarios, but don't collect other factions.

H/RS and Merc. Keeping it Loyalist.

I voted two, but I am including Davion with Sword Sworn and Steiner with Stormhammers. If you count them as seperate it would be four.

JF are not the bad guys, they are the good guys, the bad guys are the SH and the HL and the Republic and Steelwolves and every one else!

Yea i only collect JF, but i will try and pick up a few peices for my friends and their Factions.

The closest thing to me was that I collect based on other factors then playability or faction. I collect aqll of the factions but only to some degree. Ultimatly I want to create a combined arms regiment for each faction, and with my Dragons Fury and Swordsworn sets closing in on that goal (just need one more donar, and a few unspoken LEs) It will free up plenty of space for the other three houses coming in. It is a bit of a Shame though, that House Liao is almost done just in time for AOD. ohhh well
